Goku has had many companions throughout his entire life in the Dragon Ball series. Many of them are powerful fighters that pushed him to his limits as well as helped shatter those limits. Fans, however, will never forget the first time he’s ever transformed into the golden-haired Super Saiyan, thanks to none other than his marshmallow-headed best friend, Krillin.

Krillin’s not the strongest character inDragon Ball: Sparking Zero, but that doesn’t stop him from trying his luck against any foe he faces. This guide will walk you through his entire kit, including combos, skills, and special moves.

A screen detailing Krillin’s stats in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero.

Krillin’s stats aren’t much to look at, unfortunately. With his low stats, hisDP cost is also extremely low, sitting ata meager three points. This will at least allow for stronger allies when building a team, though don’t assume he is completely useless.

Krillin has access to a very useful set of abilities that work both in offensive and defensive playstyles. Solar Flare willblind opponentswho are playing hyper-aggressive, leaving themwide open to any of your follow-up attacksfor a few seconds. Afterimage Strike is also a very effective defensive tool, capable ofnegating any melee attackthrown by the opponent for15 whole seconds.

Afterimage Strike should be used preemptively before engaging to maximize its use.

Kamehameha should be used at theend of a combo launchor when theopponent is attempting to charge their Kiat a distance.Charging the Kamehameha will increase its damagethe longer it’s held, though this isunsafe if done in neutral.

Spread Energy Wave, unfortunately, hasno use during a comboand is much better used asa ranged poking tool.

Solar Flare can be used to almost always guarantee a fully charged Kamehameha or Spread Energy Wave, as the opponent will be unable to defend against something they can’t see.

While in Sparking Mode, deal as much damageas you can with the increased combo damage beforeending with the Chain Destructo Disc.

It is possible to chain a Kamehameha into a Chain Destructo Disc, though you’ll need to be quick to activate it.
