Gamma 1 In Versus And Online Matches

Gamma 1 boasts some pretty standard stats. Whilst his basic combo damage and relatively highDP cost of sevenmay be off-putting, he is still capable ofdealing great damage when paired with his special moves. Being an android gives him the added benefit ofpassively charging his Ki, allowing him to keep pressure on the opponent until his gauges are full.

Whilst Gamma 1 does generate Ki passively, be sure to keep some Ki in reserve and not completely drain your gauge the moment you fill it.

Gamma 1’s first skill,Superhero Pose 1, buffs all damage outputfor a short duration ata measly cost of two Skill Points. This skill is an extremely useful tool andshould be used once you have the skill points necessary. However, it’s important to note that if you are struggling to counter your opponent, it’s best tosave up an extra Skill Pointfor his second skill.

Android Shieldis, as the name suggests, a shield that once activatednegates any attacks thrown at Gamma 1. It should be mainly used forbreaking out of an opponent’s combo, but it can also be used todefend against special moves and ultimate attacks.

Whilst Android Barrier is mostly used to break out of combos, it can also defend against unavoidable/unblockable attacks.

Gamma 1 has access to bothBlast and Rush Special Movesin the forms ofGamma BlasterandGamma Impact, eachcosting three Ki Gauges. The first fires aquick traveling ball of energythat, when connected, dealsmoderate damage. Using thisat the end of a combois the ideal method for landing the ability anddealing additional damage.

Gamma Impactrushes directly at the opponent, dealingmoderate damage, before knocking the opponent away. Similarly to his previous special move, using this at theend of a combo or launchwill almost always guarantee it connects with the opponent.

Gamma Shift Shotbegins with Gamma 1 quicklyfiring three small energy balls. If any of them connect with the opponent,Gamma 2 will appear and unleash a powerful shotthat will dealmajor damageto the opponent. To land the move, keep your opponent as close as possibleto minimize the chance of them avoiding the attack andstagger themwith either aSweep Attack or Gut Punch.

Don’t forget to use Superhero Pose 1 to further increase the damage dealt by the Special Moves.
