Deadeye Lightning Arrow Build Overview
The Deadeye Lightning Arrow is one of the most basic and yet strongest builds in the game. The spells you need to make this build work can be picked up right in the prologue before you even start the campaign. The rest of the skills are simple additions to make your build stronger.
Deadeye is one of the Ascendancies of the Ranger class. You can unlock Deadeye in Act II after completing Trial of Sekhemas for the first time.
The basic idea is to combine theLightning Arrowspell with Lightning Rod. All you do is drop a couple ofLightning Rodon the enemy and then follow that up with your powerful Lightning Arrow. In most cases, you will end up stunning the bosses for a couple of seconds, thereby opening up a free window to deal damage.
Additionally, the Deadeye class is quite evasive and all you need to do is stack upresistances and Evasion Rating. This allows you to not only evade almost anything that the boss throws at you but also tank a few occasional hits.
Once you combine the Deadeye’s evasive features in addition to its outrageous damage, you will clear most of the content in the game with ease. Once you have your build ready, bosses will die before they even have a chance to change phases. Finally, it’s important to mention this build works extremely well in clearing mobs as well, making farming very easy.
Act I

Act III and Cruel Mode

Mapping
Once you enter Maps, you’ll have to start farming forGreater Jeweller’s Orb. These are hard to find, but keep farming until you get them and unlock a fourth slot for Lightning Arrow. UnlockPrimal Armamentand attach it to Lightning Arrow.
You’ll also have to put in some additional points on Intelligence until you can unlockCast on ShockandBall Lightning. Also, verify to unlockDecelerationandImpetusand attach it to Cast on Shock.
Passive Skill Tree
When it comes to the passive tree you’ll need quite a few stats to perfect your build. The primary stats to look out for are anything that improves Dexterity, Lightning damage, attack damage, skill speed, projectile damage, and evasion rating. Some of the key passive skills you’ll have to unlock are as follows:
Gear Requirement
When it comes to gear, there are quite a few things you’ll need. However, the most essential component of this build is aDualString Bow. These bows release two arrows instead of one which increases your damage output by a significant amount. They might be hard to get, so you’re able to use other bows with Physical Damage and Lightning Damage bonuses.
However, switch to a DualString Bow whenever possible. If you don’t find one, you can use an Exalted Orb to buy the UniqueDeath’s Harp DualString Bowfrom the Path of Exile 2 trade shop. This isn’t optimal as it has Crit stats which you don’t need. However, you can use it until you get a Rare DualString Bow. You can also use the UniqueWidowhail Crude Bow.
You need level 28 to wield the Death’s Harp DualString Bow.
Apart from that, you’ll need to look for Evasion Rating, Energy Shield, health, and mana regeneration on your body armor. Resistances are also important, and you’ll need to max it out for Cold, Fire, Chaos, and Lightning so that you’re able to survive in Maps. Ascendancy Requirement

You’ll receive 2 Ascendancy points from Trial of Sekhemas. More Ascendancy points can be unlocked by completing Trial of Chaos in Act 3 and their harder versions once you unlock Mapping. You receive a maximum of 8 Ascendancy points in the early access.
Tips and Tricks To Play Lightning Arrow Deadeye
The Lightning Arrow Deadeye class is very simple to play. All you do isdrop the Lightning Rods and then place the Orb of Stormsover them. While they damage the boss, use your Lightning Arrow to shoot at the enemies and deal massive damage.
Orb of Storms does not have a very big AoE, so make sure to place it over a boss along with the Lightning Rods for maximum damage.
In the meantime, Herald of Thunder and Cast on Shock will trigger. Herald of Thunder will drop Lightning from the sky, while Cast on Shock will trigger Ball Lightning which will deal further damage to the bosses and enemies.
