How To Plant The Device
To start, you’ll need topick up the bomb, also known as the Rift Point Device. This item spawns exclusively at theAttackers' starting location, and since only one device is available per round, it’s essential to coordinate with your team as to who has to retrieve it.
Once the device is in your possession, your next move is to choose a target location to plant it. There aretwo possible sites: A and B.Both are clearly marked on your mini-map. Visually, you can identify these sites by theshattered ground decoratedwith distinctivepurple glowing cracks. Deciding which site to approach depends on the positioning of your team and the defending team’s strategy.
When you reach your chosen site,move close to the shattered ground. At this point,press the interact buttonto begin planting the device — ‘E’ for PC and ‘X’ for Console.
Be aware that the planting process takes a moment, leaving you vulnerable to enemy attacks. It’s crucial to rely on your teammates to provide cover and fend off defenders while you complete this task.
