There are all sorts of ruins onLuma Island, left behind by the different civilizations that used to live there. You can find small buildings that look like they might have been homes, giant temples filled with traps and loot in equal amounts, and even mysterious locked shrines.
Each region seems to have one, and if you’ve chatted with the Talking Stones at all and learned the history of the island, it’s pretty likely that they were sealed up by magic. If you want to get inside and find the treasures within, you’ll need to explore the not-so-peaceful Forest and find more Offering Crystals.
All Forest Offering Crystal Locations
Like theTepid Offering Crystalsfound on your farm or in town, theForest regionhas its own set for you to find: theForest Offering Crystal.
There areonly nine of themfor you to find this time compared to the previous 11, and themajority of themrequire you togain access to the east sideof the Forest.
You can do this bygoing through the small cavelocated by theedge of the river in the northwestern cornerof the Forest, and going through it willbring you to the eastern sideof the Forest.
You cancreate a permanent bridge between the two areasby kicking down the tree loglocated at the top of the hill connected to the cave’s eastern exit.
How To Find It
Crystal 1
On thewestern side of the Forest, follow the path through the forest and along the edge of the river until you reach thecave entrance at the northwestern end. Walk under therock arch directly next to it, and the Crystal is in a small alcove, past the bushes.
Crystal 2
On thewestern side of the Forest, head to the largelake in the southern partof it, and follow the shore around to theslope where the Mushroom Man’s store is. Stop halfway down the slope, and take thepath curving back around the cliff. The Crystal is at the end of the path, beneath the stone bridge.
Crystal 3
On theeastern side of the Forest, go down thehill next to the tree log bridge, but stop before you go past thesmall ruins. Start breaking down the trees just before it, andfollow the edge of the cliff aroundand down a small hill near a Leech Plant. Follow the path, and the Crystal is on top of a rock formation at the end.
Crystal 4
On theeastern side of the Forest, go down the hill next to the tree log bridge, andbreak down the trees just before the small ruins. Keep cutting them down, then head towards the smallmountainous corner with rocksand a broken ladder.Fix the ladderfor five Reeds and three Forest Wood, climb up, and the Crystal is on the cliff.
Crystal 5
On theeastern side of the Forest, head down the hill next to the tree log bridge, and startbreaking the trees near the small ruins. Go towards thesoutheast until you reach a campsiteyou can restore, then continue past it and the ruins nearby. The Crystal is around the corner, near the cliff.
Crystal 6
Head to theeastern side of the Forest, follow the path through the quicksand area, and thennortheast to the lakein the upper corner. Go down to thelower left-hand corner of the lakeitself, and follow thepath along the cliffto where the Crystal is.
Crystal 7
Head to theeastern side of the Forest, past the quicksand area, and go around themountain in the northeastern cornerof the map. Go past the unlit torch in the cave andaround to the mossy well. Cut through the trees to the left of it,walk up the hillto the mountain, and the Crystal is on the cliff nearby.
Crystal 8
Head to theeastern side of the Forestand down to thebeach on the northeastern edge. Go south down the shore andstop in front of the cavenear the middle.Repair the ladderby the entrance for 5 Reeds and 3 Forest Logs, then climb up, and the Crystal is on the cliff.
Crystal 9
Head to theeastern side of the Forest, and up to thenortheastern corner. Go past the trio of Toxic Mushrooms andfollow the pathdown to theruins in the southeastern corner. Look for the largegroup of trees between two pillarsand a Toxic Mushroom, andcut them down. The Crystal is in the center of them.
Where To Use The Forest Offering Crystals At
When you’ve got at leasteight Forest Offering Crystals, head to the eastern side of the forest, and follow the path until you reach the area filled with quicksand.
After youcross the area using the rocks and floating platformsthroughout, follow the path to the east and the Forest Shrine will be at theend of the pathwhere itsplits to the northeast and southeast.
Insert a Forest Offering Crystal intoeach empty Forest Offering Pedestal, and whenall eight are filled, the door to the Forest Shrine will open. You’ll getone Purple Chest, which always contains one Forest Jewelry, anAncient Book, and anOrange Chest, whichcontains a Luma Eggalongside normal Forest loot.
