Smite 2is the long-awaited sequel to the beloved free-to-play MOBA Smite, but longtime players of the original will naturally have a lot of skins, unlocks, and other rewards that they’ll want to keep. The Divine Legacy lets you link your accounts between the two games, bringing over key goodies so you can continue your godly career.

Of course, there are a few steps involved to making sure the linking process goes off without a hitch, but once you’ve completed them all you’re good to go. Here are step-by-step instructions for moving from Smite to Smite 2.

The first thing you need to do islink your account in Smite 1.If you have multiple accounts,you’ll need to pick one.Choose the account with the most unlocked rewards or the highest number of hours played, andlog in.

On the title screen, selectDivine Legacy.You’ll be taken to the Divine Legacy Rewards screen, where unlocks for both games can be tracked.

Look on the right side of the Divine Legacy screen for a window that lets youlink your account.If you’ve already done so,you’ll see a green check mark.If not, follow the instructions to link your account.

How To Connect Your Smite 2 Account

Once your Smite 1 account is connected to Divine Legacy,go tohttps://link.smite2.comto connect your Smite 2 account.This cannot be done from inside Smite 2,so you’ll have to do it from your browser.

If you’re planning to play Smite 2 on your Nintendo Switch, you’ll first need to visithttps://my.hirezstudios.com/and connect your Switch account to another supported account, chosen from one of the following:Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, orEpic Games.

Once you’re at the link site for Smite 2,choose the platform that you connected your Smite 1 account fromand log in from there.

From here,log into any and all accounts from which you intend to play Smite 2, and select one to be your Primary Account. Your Primary Account should be the one on which youplan to play Smite 2 the most, or on which you’vealready played and unlocked rewards for in Smite 2.

All of your progression is linked to the Primary Account, so verify that it’s set correctly before you start playing Smite 2 any further.

Once your account(s) are linked, close the window. The next time you play Smite 2,you should have all of your Divine Legacy rewardsadded to your account.

Is There Cross Progression In Smite 2?

Smite 2does have cross progression, provided that you’ve linked all of your accounts at the site above. Any progress that you make while logged into a linked account issaved to the primary accountand shared between the rest.

This means that you can share your progress between your Smite 2 accounts onSteam, Xbox, PlayStation, and Epic Games, and your Nintendo Switch can be linked to one of those four accounts as well.

As stated above,all of your progress is saved to your Primary Account.Changing or losing your Primary Account can cause you to lose everything you’ve unlocked, so be sure that it’s an account you plan to keep long-term, and that you don’t switch off of it on the link site.

Unless you need to add an account later for a new console, you probably won’t have much reason to revisit the link site once you’ve set up your Divine Legacy.
