What Are Stars?
Stars are the key tounlocking new residents, areas,andtools, allowing you to expand your town and progress in the game. You’ll findyour current Star Leveland theprogress barat thetop leftof your screen.
Reaching new star levels will grant you valuable rewards, such asblueprints for new buildingsandthe tools needed to break through obstaclesblocking access to new locations. However, earning stars isn’t simply a matter of time — it requiresfocused effort to help your Simsandcomplete key tasks.
How To Increase Your Star Level
To start earning stars, you need tohelp Commercial Simsandmove in Townie Sims.
Commercial Simsare thecharacters who run businessesin your town, like Poppy, the florist, and her sister, Violet Nightshade, who loves spooky things. Additionally, you’ll find characters like Buddy, the Town Hotel owner, and Patrick Rhino, a retired truck driver hoping for more restaurants in town.
Each task you complete for a Sim rewards you with points that contribute toward filling your star bar.Normal taskswillgive you 100 points, butthe final taskfor a Sim rewards you with a larger amount:200 points. The more tasks you complete for your Sims, the more points you’ll rack up, gradually filling up the bar under the stars.
Once the bar is full, you’ll level up to the next star level.
As you reach new star levels, you’llunlock useful itemsto help you explore and expand your town. For example, when you reachStar Level Three,you will receive a pick-axe, which will allow you to break through rock piles blocking the path to previously inaccessible areas, such as the desert. Each new star level you achieve will bring you closer to unlocking new areas and content.
