Thanks to your efforts, the town onLuma Islandis slowly but surely returning to its pre-earthquake state. Sure, the pavement is still cracked in many places, but two important shops are now back up and running, the lamps are providing light at night again, and people have unbroken benches to rest on.

Your next task is going to be a difficult one: repairing the Lighthouse. Without its light, ships can’t safely dock at the island’s port, and it means the townspeople aren’t able to get important imported goods or even leave. Before you can get it running again, you have to reach the frozen peaks of the Mountain.

How To Repair The Lighthouse

Unlikerepairing the smaller parts of the town, repairing the Lighthouse is its own quest, and you start it byspeaking with Nelson near the Lighthouseonce you’ve experienced theearthquake that occurred on Day Five.

Thefirst partof the repairrequires three materials– Silk Rope, Mountain Wood Planks, and Scaffolding. While Silk Rope is easily obtained, you’ll need to haveprogressed far enoughin the game tounlock the Forest,obtain materials from theretorepair the Cable Car, and reach the Mountains to get Mountain Wood.

The General Store also needs to be fully repaired, as it’s theonly place to obtain or buy Scaffolding.

Silk Rope x15

Crafted from Fiber and Spider Silk in a Simple Workbench.

Spider Silk can be obtained by breaking Spider Webs or killing any type of Spider in the caves.

Fiber can be obtained by harvesting Reeds from around a lake or river, and then refining them in a Simple Workbench.

Mountain Wood Planks x30

Crafted from Mountain Wood in a Sawmill.

Mountain Wood can be obtained by cutting down any type of tree on the Mountain.

Scaffolding x10

Purchased from the fully repaired General Store for 2,000 Gold each.

Once you’ve got the materials,bring them back to the Lighthouseand interact with it tofinish that stage of the construction, and start the second.

Broken Lighthouse Stage Two Materials

For the second stage, you’ll needfour materialsthis time – Mountain Stone Blocks, Moonstone Bars, Glass, and Cement – and the majority of these also needresources from the Mountain regionto craft.

Mountain Stone Block x50

Refine Mountain Stone in a Sawmill.

Mountain Stone can be obtained by breaking Mountain Boulders on the Mountain.

Moonstone Bar x30

Smelt Moonstone Ore in an Ore Smelter.

Moonstone Ore can be obtained by breaking Moonstone Ore nodes in the Frozen Mountain Cave.

Glass x20

Smelt Sand in a Kiln.

Sand can be obtained by using your pickaxe on sand in any region.

Cement x15

Made from Calcium, Sand, and Charcoal in a Kiln.

Calcium can be obtained by breaking Calcium Rocks found on the surface or in minor caves on the Mountain.

Bring everything back to the Lighthouse andinteract with it againto fully repair it, thenfind Nelson. Speak to him again to complete the quest, and he’llreward you with 750 of each Spiritand the incredibly importantLost Jungle Island Map.
