Pokemon Gois kicking off their new season, Dual Destiny, with a new in-game event, theJust My Cup of Tea Event.Like other events hosted in previous seasons, the Just My Cup of Tea Event will bring several in-game features and bonuses, and even the debut of a couple Pokemon.

The Just My Cup of Tea Event will be a five-day event, spanning fromTuesday, June 15, 2025, at 10am local time, to Saturday, August 02, 2025, at 8pm local time.Read on to learn everything there is to know about Pokemon Go’s first event this season, ranging from event details to helpful tips and tricks.

Pokemon Debuts: Sinistea And Polteageist

Pokemon Go will be debutingSinistea,and its evolutionPolteageistat this event; available in Pokemon Go for the first time. Throughout the Just My Cup of Tea Event, you will have the opportunity to catch Sinistea through itsOne-Star Raid and as a Collection Challenge reward.

Once you have acquired Sinistea, you will have the option of evolving it into Polteageist. Doing so will require the use of50 Sinistea Candy, obtained from catching, transferring, or hatching Sinistea or Polteageist.

There will betwo different bonusesactive throughout the entirety of this Pokemon Go event, available to all players, free of charge. These two Raid-focused bonuses include:

Event Incense Encounters

There will be specificevent-themed Pokemon that will be attracted to Incenseduring this event, not including theDaily Adventure Incense. Make sure to use Incense during this event for a chance to encounter and catch one of the following six Pokemon.

The Pokemon listed below will haveincreased odds of being Shinywhen encountered through an Incense.

There will also beevent-themed Pokemon appearing more frequently in the wildduring the Just My Cup of Tea Event. This includes the following six event-themed Pokemon provided for you below.

There will also be achange in the Pokemon found in Raids during this event period, impacting Raids of all tiers. Below you can find each of these Raid Pokemon and the type of Raid that they will be found in.

All players will haveTimed Researchavailable to complete during this event, providing you with different in-game tasks to complete before the event concludes. Completing these tasks will reward you with:

Field Research Tasks

There will also beEvent Field Research Tasksavailable to claim and complete during this event, acquired fromdifferent PokeStops. Completing these tasks will reward you with eitherStardust or event-themed Pokemon encounters.

Collection Challenge

There will be aCollection Challenge available to completeduring the Just My Cup of Tea Event, requiring you to catch and evolve different event-themed Pokemon. Doing so will reward you with anencounter with Sinistea, releasing with this event.
