The team behindEA Sports FC 25has brought back their popular swap tokens, offering players the chance to secure special picks and players for their squads. This exciting feature has significantly enhanced the competitiveness of the game’s primary modes: Squad Battles, Division Rivals, and Champions.
In EA Sports FC 25 Ultimate Team, you can earn Mode Mastery special player cards by playing across the three main game modes. These cards can either be added directly to your squad or exchanged in SBCs (Squad Building Challenges).
How Mode Mastery Works
At present, you can earn three distinct types of Mode Mastery cards: theSquad Battles Mode Mastery Pack(reward: One Squad Battles Mastery Player), theDivision Rivals Mode Mastery Pack(reward: One Division Rivals Mastery Player), and theFUT Champions Mode Mastery Pack(reward: One Division Rivals Mastery Player).
For maximum value, it’s often better to swap multiple low-rated Mode Mastery cards for a higher-rated star, such asChristopher Nkunku. Aim for the required reward level and use your strategy to build a stronger team!
One of the easiest ways to earn these rewards is by playing the Squad Battles game mode, as you won’t be facing live players and can select your preferred difficulty level. Aim to reach Elite II to unlock two Squad Battle Mode Mastery players for your squad, and then move on to the Division Rivals Mode Mastery packs for even greater rewards.
Once you’ve qualified for the Champions Play-Offs, enter the Finals and give it your all to earn the most Mode Mastery packs. To improve your chances of getting more Mode Mastery packs, refer toour Champions guide for tips and strategiesto enhance your gameplay.
The Mode Master event has been live since November 28, giving players ample time to capitalize on these rewards. It’s a perfect opportunity to get started with Mode Mastery, but don’t wait too long — this is a limited-time eventscheduled to end on August 02, 2025.

Mode Mastery Rewards
All Mode Mastery player cards can be used in specific SBCs available in the game. As of now,there areover ten live SBCsthat can be completed by submitting these Mode Mastery cards.
These rewards representthe minimum you can earn in the gameand as your reward rank improves, your final rewards increase accordingly. Below is a detailed list of all the rewards available from each respective game mode in EA Sports FC 25.
Each reward cycle lasts for one week, giving players the opportunity to earn up tonine Mode Mastery playersif they’ve been participating since the event’s launch. Here are the rewards you can earn by achieving aminimum of Silver 1 rank in Squad Battles.
Squad Battles Mode Mastery cards are usuallyyellow, Division Rivals areblue, and FUT Champions arered, making it easy to identify each type of card at a glance.
As you progress to higher ranks in Squad Battles, your rewards improve accordingly.
