How To Get Razorplate

Like most other Unique items in Diablo 4, the Razorplate has a few different ways it can be acquired. To start, Unique itemsonly drop in Torment difficulties, so you’ll need to be inat least Torment 1before you even have a chance of seeing the Razorplate. The chance of dropping Uniques increases with each Torment tier, so yourbest chances are in Torment 4.

Unique items can drop fromany source that any other item can drop from, like randomly from monsters, at the end of dungeons or Nightmare Dungeons, from World Bosses, Helltide chests, and so on. The Razorplate is no different, and can drop from all of these sources and more.

However, if you want to target-farm this Unique, you do have one option. TheUber bossLord Zirhas anincreased chance to drop the Razorplate, along with a few other Unique items, making this the preferred method for obtaining this Unique.

Keep in mind that you arenot guaranteed to get a Razorplate upon defeating Lord Zir; it may take a few attempts before the item drops.

What Does Razorplate Do?

The Razorplate is a Unique chest armor that, instead of normal stats,only provides Thorns. This means that every stat slot instead increases your total Thorns value. Additionally, the Razorplate’s Unique effect makes it so thatyour Thorns has a 10 percent chance to deal between 100 to 200 increased damage.

The Razorplate is great in Thorns-based Spiritborn builds like the Rock Splitter Gorilla build, and it can also be strong in various Thorns-based Barbarian builds.
