Patch 7.1 forFinal Fantasy 14implemented a host of graphical adjustments based on feedback from the community, and in doing so, may have tempted Warriors of Light to want to change their appearance… again. It wasn’t that long ago that Dawntrail launched prompting a mass overhaul of characters, for which Square Enix kindlyincluded a way to get a free Phial of Fantasia.
Fortunately, Square Enix knew exactly what we’d be thinking once more, so for a limited time you can snag a free Phial of Fantasia in-game, and this time you don’t even need to complete a quest.
How To Get The Phial Of Fantasia From Patch 7.1
To get your hands on a Phial of Fantasia for free, head toOld Gridaniaand speak with theWandering Moogleat(X:10.7 Y:6.4). A short conversation later, and you are now the proud owner of a Phial of Fantasia. No waiting, no quests, no payment.
This free Phial of Fantasia will only be available until the launch of Patch 7.2, so be sure to grab it while you can.
How To Use Phials Of Fantasia
If you wish to change your character’s appearance, simply use the Phial of Fantasia from within your inventory, then log out to the character screen.
You must unequip all gear (except your weapon) before you log out as you can’t change appearance while your character still has gear equipped.
In the Character Selection screen, select your character but don’t log in. Instead, in the sub menu, choose ‘Re-edit Character’, and now you’re free to give your Warrior of Light the glow up they deserve.
