If you do, it’s time to get exploring. The drawings for bigger and better homes are located in special chests that often require you to face an arduous trial to find. In return for your perseverance, you can upgrade your living space and discover the handy magic tech each one comes with.

This expansion is theeasiest of the three to find, and it’s found on theeastern side of the Forest. Once you have that region unlocked, the first need to do isfind the Hidden Forest Cavesitting on theshore of the large lakeat thenorthern end of the western side.
Go through it, and itbrings you to the eastern side, and from there, you need tocross a section of quicksandwith rocks to stand on for safety, and thenfollow the path to the northeast.
After you get out of the Hidden Forest Cave, head up the path towards the lake and knock down the tree trunk near the gap to create a shortcutbetween the two halves.
Headdown the cliffand onto the beach using the slopes, thengo south down the beachuntil you see asmall island connected via a sand pathwith a brightRed Cheston it. Open it up, and you’ll berewarded with the drawing for a Cottage.

The Red Chest containing the Villa’s drawingon the Mountainand islocated at the peak of the mountainthe region is named for, and you’re in for alengthy trek up to the topof it.
You’ll alsofind the critically important Propeller materialat the top alongside the Red Chest, which you’ll need to repair the boat on your farm.
Starting from the Cable Car platform, follow the path towards the northeast and all the way around to thenorthwestern corner of the map, where the area will begin to get extremely snowy, and you’ll start to ascend the mountainonce you’repast a group of five Crow Snowmanenemies.
You’ll essentially bemaking a giant spiralaround the mountain, but there are going to benumerous obstacles on your way up.
Themost commonare sections ofgiant snowballs that roll down in set patterns, and they’llkill you if they hit you, and make youneed to restart the sectionfrom a short distance away.
Alongside those, you’ll deal withSnowstorm Prisms, crystals thatshoot an icy beam while rotating back and forth, and you’ll need touse rock formations around them to hidefrom the beam or else you’ll be frozen to death.
Snowstorm Prism sections arealways accompanied by an icy floor that makes you slide aroundwhen running on it.
Thelast obstacleyou’ll come across is a loteasier to deal withthan the other two:scaffolding sections. These have tons ofsmaller snowballs falling on a ledgeyou need to go over, but the solution to them isusing 10 Mountain Wood to fix the scaffoldingtower nearby.
This willcover the ledge and block the snowballsfrom falling, allowing you to safely cross underneath it to the other side. Thesesections will alternate as you climbthe mountain, though there are several areas you can pause at andshortcuts you can unlockby letting downladders near the edges of cliffs.
Halfway up the mountain, you can alsofind the Forsaken Mountain Temple, and next to it is apath into a cave system that has multiple shortcuts and connects the northern and southern halvesof the region.
At thevery top of the mountain, you’ll find thesecond Red Chestin the game, and inside, you’llfind the drawing for the Villa, alongside some regular loot, and you’llget the Mountain Explorer Achievementon top of it all.

How To Get The Castle
The Castle is thelast home expansionyou can get. It boasts the largest interior, thehighest number of beds, andteleporters to all three regionsfor easy access.
In return for all that utility, it’s also themost difficult to get, as you’ll need toclimb to the top of the volcanoin thefinal region, the Jungle.
Starting from the boat’s drop-off point, head northwest along the beach and into the trees, passing by the cave and when youreach the fork in the road, continue going northwest.
If you’ve started to explore the Jungle already and unlocked some of the shortcuts, you can also start at theladder shortcut near the Mushroom Man’s store or go through the cave system’s shortcutsand reach the Volcano from there.
Pass by the Skeleton Slime at thefour-way split in the roadand take thepath closest to the lava flow, following it along until you see the grass start to get brown and there’s astone archway in front of a slope.
This is the entrance to the volcano, and it’ll have alengthy series of lava-based puzzlesinstead of snow-based ones like the prior trip. Follow the edge around until you reach thefirst lava lake puzzle.
This area’sthree main obstaclesyou have to deal with are:
You canfall in between the cracked square tilesas they disappearif you’re traveling across them diagonally.
Once you’re across the first puzzle, keep going around the edgeuntil you reach thenext lava lake, and this is when themoving stone tiles begin to appear.
Watch their patterns, then navigate over them until you reach the end where there’s aforked path of cracked square tiles. The left leads to a platform with a Druidic Tribute Statue, while you canhead right to continue going upthe volcano.
At the third lava lake, you’ll have a combination of cracked stone tiles and moving stone tiles. Make sure totime it so that when you moveacross the cracked tiles, theconnecting moving tile is three-fourths of the way there, so you have enoughtime to cross without rushing.
Youdon’t need to worry about the fire-breathing statues killing you in any section, as the fires are too high up to reach you.
On the other side, you’ll have thefirst shortcut ladder you can dropand two paths with lava lakes. Taking thelower one will lead you to a chest, but theone above will keep you on the pathto the top.
Starting at this longer lava lake, you’ll need tomove between moving tiles, then cross alarge section of cracked onesand time it so you get onto thetile at the end.
Head across the grass section, then cross the next section, whichintroduces the breakable bouldersthat make safe zones, and at thenext crossing, you’ll need tobreak a boulder while running back and forth over the cracked tilesthat break.
For the rest of the trip, you’ll be dealing withmore lava lakes with breakable bouldersfor safe tiles, and a variety of moving tiles, many of which have a main path, and a secondary path that leads to small areas with chests.
Make sure tokeep unlocking the shortcutsas you make your way up, and at the very top, you’ll find a large platform with anOrange Chest containing a Luma Egg.
Walk across the pathway to theisland under the statueand open theRed Chestfor thefinal house blueprint, the Castle.
