While most people won’t encounter major crashes or file corruption inLove And Deepspace,problems do arise, and it can be irritating to attempt to deal with them alone. Whether your game files are corrupted and won’t open, you have image or resolution issues, or your game simply won’t load, there’s a fix for each of them.
We’ve done the deep diving for you and have compiled a list of some common issues and how to troubleshoot them. You shouldn’t have issues with the game, as long as you’re running the right version for your OS, but here’s what you can do if issues do arise.
How To Troubleshoot Crashes
If you’re encountering crashes, the culprit is usually one of two things:corrupted filesor anOS incompatibilityissue. The good news is that both of these problems have some simple fixes.
While not every issue can be resolved using one of the methods in this guide,most issuescan be solved using one of the listed methods. For persistent issues,contacting game supportis still the most reliable way to solve specific problems.
How To Fix Corrupted Files
Fixing corrupted files is as easy asreverifying your game files. You can do this from thelog-in home screenby selecting thewrenchicon. Re-verifying your game files willre-downloadall game files.
Re-downloading game files willremove any corrupted filesor code that is preventing your game from running properly. Once the reverification is complete, you should be able torun the game as normalwithout any crashes.
Youwon’t lose any dataif you re-verify your files. Make sure you’vecreated an accountand verified your email. If there are ever any issues with your game progress, you canuse your account informationand email to contact support and have it fixed.
How To Check For Updates
If the game updates, you’ll need todownload the new contentbefore you’re able to play. Updates can containbug fixes, version optimization, and anynew contentbeing added to the game, likeevents and new memories. Updates can also optimize the game for new OS updates.
Updates are typicallytriggered automaticallywhen you open the game after an update rolls out. You can always check what the update contains bychecking the Server Noticeicon on the home screen.
You can find Event Notices and the Server Notice by selecting thethree horizontal linesicon.
If you’ve ever submitted a bug or crash report to the support team, you cancheck the progressof the bug fix from the Server Notice screen.
You can also check the Server Notice screen in theProfile menu of Deepspace Cafe. Enter the settings tab in your Profile andselect ‘Notice’at the bottom of the screen.
Love and Deepspace is a beefy game andtakes up a lot of spaceon your device. With so many image files, videos, and visually interactive content, you’ll need tomake sure you have enough storageon your device to hold Love and Deepspace.
Themost commonreason that an update will fail to download is because yourdevice is out of space. The game won’t alert you that you don’t have enough space, so you’ll need toenter your device’s settingsand check the storage yourself.
Until youfree up some space, you won’t be able to complete the update downloads.
You can also check what content is downloaded to your phone by entering your profile andselecting the downward facing arrowicon. From here, you can manageall downloaded resourcesand check exactly how much space each resource takes up on your device.

Graphics Issues
Graphics issuesare another one of the most common problems you may encounter in Love and Deepspace. The game has somestunning visualswhich not all devices will be able to process.Here’s what you can doif you’re having visual issues.
General Graphics Issues
If you find that your graphics aregrainy, jerky, or just a bit off, you may need to consider tweaking yourgraphics settings.
Believe it or not, incompatible graphics settings can even cause spooky errors likefloating character headsor missing limbs! This is rare, but does occur.
To change your graphics settings, you can eitherselect the person iconon the home screen or enter yourplayer Profile, select settings, and enter theQuality tab.
The Quality tab will offer themost customizable graphicsexperience, but the home screen method will offer avisual sampleof each graphics mode.
Thebest settingto use is typically the onerecommendedby the game. The game will analyze your device’s graphics specs and suggest what it thinks is the most compatible graphics mode. The recommended mode usually offers the best graphics with theleast amount of glitching.
If you’re still having issues after using the recommended graphics mode,try going down a graphics setting.
How To Fix Outfit Clipping
Outfits will probably clip at least a little bit in theSnapshot and Photoboothmodes no matter what, but the most common reason is anincompatibilitybetween model pose and outfit or accessory style.
Some outfits and accessories areincompatible with certain posesbecause theangleof the character models,projectionof the outfits and accessories, orpositionof both clip into one another.
In some modes, like Snapshot,incompatible items will be removedbefore the final photo is taken. For example, thereindeer antlerswon’t work with duo poses where thecharacter’s heads leanagainst each other. To avoid weird clipping, the game will automatically remove the antlers from one of the characters.
In other modes, like theGlint Photoboothmode, certain outfits and accessories will belocked outof certain poses. To get around this, you cantoggle ‘ignore incompatibility.‘Doing so will give you access to all accessories and outfits again, but youmay encounter clippingor weird outfit positioning.
Sometimes, clipping is unavoidable, like inSylus’s Rebuttal Invalidduo pose. In this pose, if Sylus is wearing long sleeves, the protagonist’shand will always clipinto his sleeve. There’s no way to fix this just yet.
Network Issues
Because Love and Deepspace is a live service game, having agood network connection is vital.If you think your network connection could be causing lag or infinite buffering, try closing out of the game and re-entering it.
From the home screen,select the Wi-Fi iconon the right side. You’ll get a pop-up with a button that says ‘start testing.’ Click this button totest the strengthof your network connection and deduce if apoor connectionis causing your issues.
Testing your connection will testmore than just your Wi-Fi; it will check on the status of theAccount Sever,local and public networks,signal intensity, servicelatency, and more.
If any of the categories lights up red, you may select the ‘copy report’ button todownload a copyof your error report andsend it to Customer Service. We always recommend copying your error report andtaking screenshotsof any issues. Themore informationyou can provide for Customer Service,the better!
Profile And Account Issues
If you want tolog outof the game and into analt account, or if you simply want towipe your game progress, you can follow these steps.
How To Log Out Or Change Accounts
You can log out and change accounts two ways. The first way is from thehome screen. Select theperson iconat the top right of the home screen to automatically log out of the game.
You will need toagree and acceptthe legal notice and terms of service before logging back into the game.
you may also log out from theProfile menu.To do so, enter the settings menu and select the’Log Out’button at the bottom left of the screen.
How To Deregister From The Game
If you decide that you would ratherdelete your accountentirely, you’re able to deregister from the game. Deregisteringwipes your accountand deletes all progress. If you choose toregister again, youwon’t have any of your memoriesor resources, so consider this option wisely!
