Every new season ofFortnitehas its own theme, and with the release of Fortnite: Chapter 6, Season 1, we have a Japanese setting, along with the introduction of hunters who are available as NPC characters, as well as demons that you can encounter and fight on the map.
Like any other new season, there are multiple quests to complete, and they offer generous amounts of XP upon completion. One of the quests in this season is the Giant Turtle quest, where a mysteriously large turtle appears on the map. Your task is to investigate it and uncover what’s going on.
How To Find The Giant Turtle
The Giant Turtleis a separate quest from the Story quest in Chapter 6, Season 1.
The quest begins with the announcement that a giant turtle has appeared, andyour goal is to find it.
The tricky part is thatthe turtle spawns in a different location each match but only in a water area, so you’ll need to keep an eye out for it.
Once you locate the Giant Turtle,land on it to find a character named Ryuji. He will ask for your help to free the Great Turtle from Dark Magic Thorns.
Around the turtle’s shell,you’ll find five dark red thorns that need to be destroyed.
These thorns are easy to spotas red sticks sticking out of the shell.
Once you’ve destroyed all five,return to Ryujito collecta rare chestas a reward for your efforts.
Every Possible Location For The Giant Turtle
The best way to find it is tostay gliding in the skyandcheck all the water areas.
Keep an eye out forthe turtle’s green shell, which will havea few trees on it; that’s the Giant Turtle.
Once you spot it, land there, but be cautious - other players might also be heading to the same spot, so be prepared for a fight.
As mentioned earlier,the Giant Turtle’s location changes every match, but we have a map image that covers most, if not all, of the possible locations on the map.
