With the release ofFortniteChapter 6, Season 1, we’ve been treated to a whole new map, new weapons, new characters, and new medallions to collect. Along with these additions, there’s also a bunch of new quests that you can complete to earn plenty of XP. These quests are not too difficult to achieve, so they’re definitely worth doing.
Among the numerous quest series available is Wintervestigation, where you’ll need to meet Noir and take on his cases to help resolve them. As of the time of writing this guide, all the cases are now available to complete. However, the last one might have you scratching your head, but don’t worry - we have a guide for it right here.
How To Find Sgt Winter’s Secret Files
Before you can initiate this quest,you need to have completed the previous cases in the Wintervestigation from Noir, who is located at theSeaport Citymiddle building, at the penthouse.
If you’ve completed the prior cases, the final case will beCase #63,which is theDouble-Checked List.
Noir will request that youfind the secret files for Sgt. Winter’s Naughty or Nice list. To do this,head to the Foxy Floodgate, located just to the west of his location.
Once you reach this area, make your way tothe sewers, which can be accessed through the room with the blue door on the southeast side of the location.
Inside,jump downand head to the right, where you’ll finda locked gate. Destroy it with your pickaxe.
Follow the path ahead until youreach three black cabinets. Interact with all three untila scroll appearsfrom one of them. Once it does,interact with the scroll twice.
For the final step, you need toconfront Sgt. Winterabout it. He is located justsouth of the Foxy Floodgate, near the plane wreckage.
Interact with him, and once the conversation is complete, you will finish this quest andearn 25,000 XP.
