Anointing is a powerful mechanic inPath of Exile 2, which lets you gain the effects of any Notable Passive Skill without being connected to it. While not mandatory, some Anoints can easily elevate your build regarding DPS, defenses, or plain utility.

For instance, Frazzled is an Anointed Passive that grants you Mana Regeneration as well as an increased magnitude of inflicted Shock, which can be very useful on a Stormweaver. Unlike the original POE, only Amulets and Waystones can be Anointed in Path of Exile 2. Here’s how to Anoint your items, get Distilled Emotions, and some of the best Anoints in the game.
