Ritual is one of many endgame mechanics inPath of Exile 2. If done right, it can be a really lucrative currency farming strategy that requires minimal setup. The goal with Ritual is to farm Omens, raw Divine Orbs, valuable Uniques, and An Audience with the King. And while it is not as consistent as something like Breach, it is still incredibly profitable while also being easier to farm.

This guide will cover the basics of farming Ritual, recommended Precursor Tablets, Atlas Tree, and some strategies to make it as profitable as possible.

Atlas Passive Tree

In order to make the most out of Ritual, you need to haveallocated all eight Ritual Passive Points. This requires you todefeat the King of the Mistsa total of four times – two Passive Points for each kill. Do not forget toallocate your unspent Ritual Passive Pointsbefore killing the King in the Mists again, or you willnot get two additional points. Continue to repeat until you have all eight Passive Points.

Fighting the King in the Mists requires you to buyAn Audience with the King, which costs several Divine Orbs in the Trade League, sothis farm has a bit of an entry cost.

Once you have all eight Ritual Passive Points, take the following nodes:

Description

Ominous Portents

This gives us a50% increased chance of getting Omens. Since some of the Omens are extremely valuable, this node is a must-have.

He Approaches

This node grants us a50% chance of getting An Audience with the King. This fragment (alongside Omens) constitutes themajority of your profitfrom Ritual. Aside from this, it alsoincreases monster rarity, which means more Tribute.

It lets youreroll Favors an additional time, and at a25% reduced Tribute cost. This allows you to see more Favors for a chance toget valuable items, such as Omens.

Promised Devotion

With this node, you candefer items at half the cost. Other than that, theseitems reappear a lot sooner.

As for your Atlas Tree, anything thatincreases Pack Size, improves the effects of Precursor Tablets, increases monster rarity, etc. is generally recommended.

Valuable Loot

There are a lot of big-ticket items which you’re able to get from Rituals. These include things likeAn Audience with the King, raw Divine Orbs,T0 Uniques, valuable Omens, and even some well-rolled Rare Items. Do note that valuable Omens like theOmen of Dextral Annulmentcan only be found in Level 80 zones, so try torun T16 Waystonesif your build can handle them.

To efficiently farm Ritual, you will need toinvest in Precursor Tablets. There are a few excellent ones that can easily improve your farming game. Some that are recommended include:

Remember thatPrecursor Tablets do stack. Therefore, if you have got afour-Tower setup, two ‘Additional Rerolls’ and two ‘Reduced Tribute Cost’ should be really profitable.

How To Defer?

This is themost important partof farming Ritual. You havea limited amount of Tributeeach map, so it is crucial to spend it intelligently. You shouldnever buy a valuable item from the first window. This is because you will most likelyspend all your Tribute, and willnot have enough to reroll Favorsfor a chance at an even bigger item.

The optimal strategy is tocontinue rerolling Favorsuntil you see something valuable, such as An Audience with the King. Instead of buying it,defer it, andcontinue rerolling. When you see thedeferred item in the next Ritual, defer it again, andkeep on rerolling for a chance to find another valuable item.

The idea is tocontinue deferring until the item can no longer be deferred, or you are able tobuy it with no rerolls left. Remember thatrerolling Favors takes the top prioritysince you can easily miss a valuable item.
