Finding loot drops that are actually worth picking up is a constant struggle inPath of Exile 2. Even in late-game maps where loot is plentiful, finding an item that is an upgrade to your build can be difficult, especially if you don’t have a thorough loot filter in place.
Luckily, whether you’re on PC or console, there are solutions available through the community. Player-made item filters are broadly available to help you keep track of only good items while you explore Wraeclast. Below, we’ll take a look at how to enable loot filters on console, as there’s one extra step involved compared to PC.
How To Link Your Path Of Exile 2 Account
First, you’ll need tolink your console to your Path of Exile 2 account. To do this, head to thePath of Exile website, then select log in at the upper-left side of the screen.
Once you’ve logged in with your Path of Exile account, select"manage account"from the list on the right of the screen. Here, under theSecondary Loginoptions, choose to Connect to either Sony or Microsoft, depending on your console of choice.
This will prompt you tosign in with your Xbox or PlayStation account. Once you’ve done so, your Path of Exile and console accounts will be linked.

How To Enable Console Loot Filters
Now, to get loot filters set up, head back to youraccount pageand select the"Item Filters" optionon the right side of the screen.
Here, under the Followed Item Filters section, click onItem Filter Ladder. This will open up a list ofcommunity-created loot filtersfor a variety of playstyles, classes, and more.
From the Game Type drop-down, be sure toselect PoE2to only show item filters for Path of Exile 2.
Once you’ve found a suitable loot filter, simply click theFollowbutton toadd it to your list of followed item filters. Followed item filters willappear automatically in the game.
To find them, head back into the game and open theoptions menu, then select theGame tab. The first option under General is Item Filter. Opening thedrop-downhere will show you alist of all the item filters you’ve followedback on the website. Select the one you followed, and it will be applied to the game!
It may take a few minutes from when you follow the item filter for it to show up activated in-game. Trywaiting or opening and closing another gamein the meantime.
