Each Zombies map inCall of Duty: Black Ops 6features a main quest that you can complete, usually involving multiple steps and more complicated tasks. However, this isn’t the only activity available, as there are many other shorter and rewarding Easter eggs you can complete, which can even help you progress in the main Easter egg quest.
The Chess Knight is one of the many Easter eggs you can find in Citadelle des Morts. To begin, you need to locate the knight chess piece, which can spawn in different locations. Once you find it, you can initiate this unique Easter egg. If completed correctly, it will summon a companion knight chess to assist you in killing zombies, making it a valuable ally during your fight.
How To Find The Chess Knight Piece
First Possible Location
The first possible location for the Chess Knight piece is inthe basement of the bar, near the spawn area.
Here, you’ll finda cabinet filled with bottles and cans. In between them, you’ll spot thewhite knight chess piece.
Second Possible Location
If the chess knight piece isn’t in the basement, the second possible location is just before you enter the castle.Head to the room with the Elemental Pop machine.
On the left side of the room, opposite the machine, you’ll finda table next to a server, where the white knight chess piece can be found.
Third Possible Location
If you still haven’t found the chess knight piece, make your way inside the castle andclimb the stairs to the upper floorwhere the dragon statue is located.
Follow the path to the right side, andjust after you pass the door, you’ll finda tablewith the knight chess piece on it.
There may be other locations where the Chess Knight piece spawns, but at the time of writing this article, we are only aware of these three.
How To Complete The Chess Knight Easter Egg
Now that you’ve found the Chess Knight piece, you can begin the Easter egg. Make your way to the west side of the castle, specificallyto the room with the Stamin-Up machine.
In the center of the room, you’ll finda table with a chessboard. With the Chess Knight piece in hand,interact with the board to trigger a purple circle.
What you need to do here isdefeat multiple zombies inside the circle.
Once you complete this task, the Chess Knight piece will spawnas your companionand assist you in defeating zombies for a good amount of time.
