Hello Kitty Island Adventureis made up of several main islands, each home to several iconic Sanrio residents. One familiar face that you will see is Pochacco, who loves anything related to exercise. You will also unlock the zipline system through him, making your friendship with Pochacco quite important.
In this guide, we are going to take a look at how to meet Pochacco for the first time and befriend him in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. This will also cover any rewards related to leveling up your friendship with him, and a dive into the Pochacco-related quests that you can complete.
Where To Find Pochacco
Pochacco is incredibly easy to find; you don’t need any special tools or equipment to reach his location. You’ll find himto the right of the main plaza in Seaside Resort,very close to theResort Plaza mailbox.
He will typically be standing outside of the building here, but if he is out and about,you can reference the map to check his location.The Pochacco icon shows his current spot, so just head over to where it displays on the map.
Gifts To Give Pochacco
Pochacco loves receiving gifts, especially if they have the tags ofSports, Healthy, or Veggie.These icons look likea trophy, a heart, and two little leaves.Any gift with at least one of these tags will be aone-heart gift.
There aretwo and three-heart giftsas well, which provide a bit more friendship. You can find these on the table below.

In return for giving Pochacco a gift,he will give you some Strawberries.
One of the best early-game gifts to give Pochacco is Tofu. This item isobtained by gifting things to Hello Kitty, as she gives Tofu in return.Interestingly, Hello Kitty accepts Strawberries, sothese two characters pair pretty well together in terms of gift-giving.
Friendship Rewards
By giving gifts to Pochacco, you’ll be able to level up your friendship with him.Pochacco has a total of 20 levels,each with its own reward. Below, you can check out all of these levels and what the reward is for reaching them.

Quests From Pochacco
There are a few quests that unlock based on your friendship with Pochacco. While there aren’t the most amount of these, they can be helpful to complete, especially if you wantaccess to the zipline.
Description
Pochacco Energy Pop
Before starting this quest, you need to complete Revive the Oasis and A Zipline Adventure.
This quest tasks you with creating a new drink for Pochacco, which involves bringing him to Pompompurin, making a soda, and gathering the requested ingredients.
A Zipline Adventure
Before starting this quest, you need to complete Power Up the Gate.
This quest tasks you with meeting Pochacco and Chococat, who want you to make a Spark in order to repair the zipline.
The zipline is a great way to reach Gemstone Mountain and speak with Pompompurin andPekkle for the first time.
Daily Quests
Daily quests are exactly what they sound like; quests that you may complete every day for Pochacco. Overall, Pochacco has a lot of daily quests, but you won’t see all of them at the same time.Additionally, some will onlyunlock once you meet the mentioned character or location (such as Icy Peak).
