Activating the waypoint will allow you to travel to this area directly from the World Portal inside Angela’s abode.
Sanctum Catacombs Dungeon Guide
If you want to complete the Communing Catacombs quest, you will have to head to the first stage of the Sanctum Catacombs. Thelayout may differ every time you enter it, but the objective is to defeat all the enemies that spawn after you enter a platform covered in purple smoke.
Sometimes, you may encounter doors that are locked. If there’s a keyhole in the middle of the door, you willhave to find a key inside the dungeon to unlock it. Otherwise, you will have tofind the lever that unlocks the door.Keep an eye out for ledges that you can climband use jump dashes to reach ledges that are hard to reach.
If you die inside a dungeon, you will respawn at the resurrection point and can easily resume the challenge from where you left off. This allows you to continue challenging the same enemy without having to worry about doing the entire run again.
After progressing further and completing several challenges, youwill be able to find the sigilnear the end of the stage.Dungeons are repeatable, so you can do a run as many times as you need to level up and gather equipment.
you’re able to also check on Angela or Enok if they haveany quests related to the Sanctum Catacombs. Completing these quests will give you additional rewards for sweeping the dungeon.

These wisps will tackle you after charging for a short duration. You can predict the attack is coming by watching them glow.
These wispshave fairly low HPand you can quickly get rid of them before they can start attacking you.
Greater Wisp
4
You can spot these wisps by their pink color. These are slightly harder to kill but attack the same way.
you’re able to hold the block button when you seethese wisps glow. You will be able to parry or block their attack.
Mini Geist
These scythe-wielding enemies can be annoying in groups. They will attempt to surround you and then start attacking.

Geist
7
You will usually encounter only one Geist, alongside other enemies. But they are significantly stronger than the other enemies that you encounter in this stage.
If you’re being attacked by a group of enemies, focus on everyone else first andleave the Geist for the last, because this enemy is quite strong. The attack pattern is the same as Mini Geist.
Tar Spawn
3

Similar to lesser wisps, you canquickly take out these enemieswith a few swings and then focus on other enemies.

Alongside some new enemies, you will also encounter a few of the stronger enemies from the previous stage in this dungeon.
In Stage Two, the Geists will appear as regular enemies. These enemies will attack you by swinging their scythe.
Considering that you’re at least level 6, you will be able to comfortably defeat this enemy in groups.
Toxin
8
These enemies are an upgraded version of wisps, but they hit a lot harder. The Toxins attack you by charging in your direction.
Wait for the Toxins to glow purplebefore you hit the block button. Doing so will allow you to parry the attack or block it.
Deathgel
6
Deathgels are the regular slime enemies that you’ll encounter in stage two. These slimes have a fair amount of HP and can hit a lot harder.
These slimes are a lot larger than Tar Spawns and you have to take them out quickly. They usually attack in groups, so if you have anyskills that have an area-wide effect, that can be exceptionally useful against them.
Sanctum Catacombs Stage Three
The third stage of Sanctum Catacombs can be accessedafter reaching level 12. This stage is a little difficult because you’llencounter trapsand will have to fight the enemies around these moving traps.
You can choose to face Lord Kazuul, an optional boss,at the end of stage three. Lord Kazuul is a lot similar to Lord Zuulneruda, but attacks more frequently and has some enhanced attacks. It is recommended to wait until you’reat least level 15 before facing this optional boss.
Miasma
14
Miasma is a wisp enemy. Unlike the wisps you’ve encountered so far, if Miasma attacks you, you will take damage over time.
You have to parry its attacks consistently, or at least block them.Blocking this enemy’s attacks takes priority. If you’re fighting against a group of enemies, you should try to focus on blocking Miasma’s attacks first.
Poltergeist
16
This scythe-wielding enemy is quite strong, and will usually attack you in groups. They attack more frequently and stagger for a shorter duration than the other Geist enemies in previous stages.
Despite being a lot stronger, dealing with them is quite easy as you can eitherreact to them glowingor press the block button when they raise their scythe in the air.
Hellsludge
13
This slime enemy has incredible reach due to its long ears. If you get hit by its attacks, you will take fire elemental damage for a short duration.
Use Class Skills that deal area-wide damageto defeat these slimes quickly. They are usually in groups and will be crowded together due to being melee attackers.
