The world ofStalker 2: Heart of Chornobylis more frightening than ever, providing a breath of fresh air for new and returning players collectively. As vague as it can get, the game introduces the players to its world with zero to little guidance.
While the basics of the game are laid out before the players, one basic and most important item is neglected: the flashlight. If you certainly have no clue how to use the flashlight, the prologue’s part where you must travel through the dark sewers will be an absolute mess due to the convoluted dark corners.
How To Use The Flashlight
As soon as the campaign begins,you will be able to use the flashlight immediatelyafter entering the initial compound for infiltration. It may not be necessary to use the flashlight in the beginning sequences of the infiltration, but once you reach the sewers, the darkness is unbearable.
For PC, you can eitherpress the middle mouse buttonor hold the tab button toopen up your inventory wheel and press Eto turn the flashlight attached to your armor on, illuminating the dark corners of the sewers and revealing each and every detail.
If you’re on Xbox or using the controller in general, the method to use the flashlight is a little more complicated.Press LB (L1) to pop up the weapon wheel and press the D-pad rightto turn on the flashlight without any hindrances.
Required Resources For Flashlight
Since the flashlight is a mandatory item from the start to the end stages of Stalker 2,there is no specific item or resourcerequired to use the flashlight. With threats roaming around every corner and all items being scarce in the endangering world, the number of batteries is negligible.
With this, the flashlightis an infinite-use itemthat makes the exploration part of the game less tedious.
The light of your flashlight can make you more visible to enemies, however.
