Summary

Grand Theft Auto 6will be one of the biggest video game launches that the industry has ever seen, and will likely be a highlight for many when it launches at some point in the Fall next year. We’ve seen very little of the gamesince it’s first trailer almost a year ago though, andconcerns surrounding a potential delay are very real, even though developer Rockstar and publisher Take-Two Interactive have been quick to stress it’s still on time.

That’s why regular updates on the game’s release date are necessary to curb any misinformation out there at the moment, and Take-Two has given us yet another during its most recent earnings report. It’s not huge, breaking news in the slightest, but fans will likely be happy to hear that Grand Theft Auto 6 is still on course to launch in Fall 2025, despite the silence we’ve had to endure since its first trailer.

Unfortunately, we still don’t have a proper release date for the game, and this statement doesn’t rule out potential delays in the future. It’s heartening that the game is still on course, even though it’s still almost a year out from release. You’d assume that we’ll hear something soon if Rockstar believes it can still hit that release window, though we don’t seem to be any closer to that elusive second trailer.

Where Is The Second Grand Theft Auto 6 Trailer?

While we know Grand Theft Auto 6 is still launching next Fall, it still doesn’t answer exactly why we haven’t seen any more of the game.Fans are starting to lose hope that we’ll actually get another trailer before the end of the year, and it seems unlikely a game as massive as GTA 6 would need a venue like The Game Awards to showcase the goods.

The game’s first trailer broke YouTube records on its own, and that was when it was unceremoniously dumped onto social media. Rockstar has always marched to the beat of its own drum though, and chances are this next trailer will be a bit more in-depth than the first. We just have to keep being patient - we’ve waited over a decade already, what’s a few more months?
