Summary

Garry Newman, the creator and namesake ofGarry’s Mod, has reacted to Skibidi Toilet joiningFortniteby simply saying that he doesn’t care and wants to stop hearing about it.

Fortnite has had some wild collaborations and crossovers in the seven yearssince its Battle Royale mode started taking over the world, but no one could have predicted its latest and weirdest addition. Earlier this week,it was rumoured that DaFuq!?Boom!’s iconic brainrot series, Skibidi Toilet, would be joining the gamewith a unique backbling and skin.

That rumour ended up being totally correct,as a Plungerman skin and Skibidi Toilet backbling were just added to Fortnite a few days ago. Beyond showing just how far humanity has fallen, the inclusion of Skibidi Toilet has raised a few toilet-dwelling eyebrows, as some fans have wondered about the legality of it all considering Skibidi Toilet’s origin.

Stop Telling Garry Newman About Skibidi Toilet In Fortnite

For those of you who are lucky enough not to know,Skibidi Toilet started life as a series of shorts made using Source Filmmaker and a bunch of models created by Valve and used in its games. In fact, the iconic singing toilet first seen in the series uses the Male_07 model created by Valve, making it a confusing whirlpool of licensing.

This has caused a lot of people to wonder what Valve thinks of the whole Skibidi Toilet inclusion, despite the fact that Fortnite clearly uses a more original model that wouldn’t be owned by Valve. While the creators of Half-Life have yet to comment on it all (and likely won’t), that hasn’t stopped questions from being directed at Garry’s Mod creator Garry Newman.

Seeing as how Skibidi Toilet was created using Garry’s Mod maps and the models used within are arguably more known for Garry’s Mod, it’s no surprise that the creator has been asked about it over the years.Newman recently took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the matter, although it seems like he mostly doesn’t care.

Seemingly after having received a bunch of comments about it,Newman pointed out that he is 42 and “simply” doesn’t care about Skibidi Toiletbeing in Fortnite, before asking fans to stop telling him about it. It’s a short response to the whole thing, but it does at least confirm he’s aware of it all even if he clearly wishes he wasn’t.

Newman followed that statement up by saying that he’s not going to sueand that he has no “basis, want, or need” to do so since he doesn’t own the models used in Skibidi Toilet. He also points out that he didn’t make any of the toilet models or Source Filmmaker, so it really doesn’t involve him as much as some seem to think.
