But in a world as large, beautiful, and expansive as Miraland, and with so many systems adding a rich depth to the game, you’re bound to have a few questions as you press into the story of Infinity Nikki. Ena the Curator didn’t give you just any task, after all!
How Much Does Infinity Nikki Cost To Play?
One of the very best parts of Infinity Nikki is thatthe game is free to playwhen you first dive in! In the standard download for the game, you’ll have access to the entirety of the story and all the game’s main functions. You’ll be able to get the full Nikki experience without spending a dime, and you’ll getplenty of hours out of your download!
That said, Infinity Nikki is also agacha game, offering a Resonance mechanic that allows players topull for special limited-time outfits. The crystals you’ll need to use in the Resonance mechanic arenotpart of the free game past the tutorial on the Resonance mechanic.
In the earliest parts of the game, you’ll be able to do a free Resonance pull as Nikki makes her way towards Florawish. You can also get these crystals as rewards for various tasks in the game, but the most reliable way to get more crystals to use in Infinity Nikki’s Resonance is by buying them outright with cash. If you’re not into the gacha mechanic, then the game will be totally free!
Which Console Is Infinity Nikki On?
Infinity Nikki is available on a variety of platforms, meaning there’s a way into Miraland for just about everyone! The primary way to play Infinity Nikki so far seems to beon PC. If you’re running a Windows computer, you can head tothe official Infinity Nikki webpageand download the game’s launcher right from there. Simply follow the directions to install it and you’re good to go.
If you don’t prefer to download your games from Windows, or if you’re playing on another operating system, you can also play the game on PC throughthe Epic Games storeusing their individual launcher. The Infinity Nikki website will take you here directly and the download will go throughyour Epic launcher, or you can search for the game right in the store.
More of a console player than PC? That’s no problem, since Infinity Nikki also launchedon PlayStation 5! If your PS5 is your main source for your gaming, especially with adventure-based gatcha titles, then head tothe PlayStation storeto begin your download.
If you’re not into gaming on PC or console, though, you’re not out of luck! Infinity Nikki also releasedon iOS and Android, allowing for mobile play on practically every smartphone! Visitthe App StoreorGoogle Play Store, and you can take your dress-up adventure with you wherever you go.
How Do You Get More Clothes?
A shorter list would almost be hownottoget more clothesin Infinity Nikki! The game offers plenty of interesting ways to obtain new outfits, both wholy assembled ready-to-wear ensembles and individual outfit pieces alike. The moist important outfits areNikki’s ability outfits, calledMiracle Outfits. These are obtained bygetting the sketch for the outfit from the Heart of Infinityafter collecting a good number of Whimstars.
We’ve already mentioned it above, butResonanceis a good way to getspecial, limited-time, rarer outfits. These will cycle in and out every so often, and if you’re familiar with gatcha games, then the idea of pulling for something and hoping you get what you want won’t be new to you. The more you try to wish for these outfits, the more luck you’ll have converting extras.
Not all the outfits online come from the Resonance mechanic, though - be sure to keep your eyes peeled on theannouncements tabin your Pear-Pal menu forlimited-time eventsthat offer all kinds of rewards, including but not limited to new clothing and accessories.
One of the most straightforward ways to get new outfits and clothing in Infinity Nikki is tobuy from Marques Jr. in Florawish. His shop, once you’ve helped clear the wreckage of Nonoy’s crash in the town square, sells a variety of clothing and accessories for you to add to your wardrobe. If you buy everything he sells, you’ll even get that fabulous dress out front!
You’ll also find plenty of other clothing vendors in other towns around Miraland, so be sure to stop toany NPC in a town with a shirt icon next to their name-they’ll sell you some clothes!
Where Are The Minigames?
As you wander around Miraland, thecities and townsyou begin to stumble upon offer a fun variety of minigames for you to play, offering a brief respite from the journey to become the most fashionable stylist the land has ever seen. As you explore these places, you’ll often findNPCs with an icon of a chess pawn and a diamond cardabove their head.
This means that character has a minigame you can choose to play! You’ll often be able to get a sense for what their minigame will entail by listening to the conversations happening around the game’s location, since characters nearby often remark about the game and how to play it.
You can also findunmanned minigamesaround settlements, denoted by agreen glowwhen you come upon the item. These tend to be shorter, smaller, and less-involved games, but they still count as playing a minigame nonetheless.
You neverhaveto play these minigames, but doing so not only coversa few of the assorted Coursesin your Pear-Pal, but alsothe occasional Daily Wish.
Can You Sell Spare Collectibles?
As you venture through the wonderful world of Miraland, you’ll no doubt end up with dozens of extra collectibles in Nikki’s backpack! There are plenty of critters and plants to grab as you move between story beats, but unfortunately, theredoesn’t seem to be a way to sell overstock collectiblesright now.
But that doesn’t mean you’re stuck lugging them around! Plenty ofthe Realm Challengesthat you’ll find within the Warp Spires ask you touse collectiblesand Vital Energytogether in Realm Challengesto earn things likemore Insight experiencefor your skills,Blings, Shiny Bubbles, Threads of Purity, and more.
How Do You Get New Sketches?
While you’re in the Heart of Infinity, you’ll also find plenty ofadditional pieces from the Heart of Infinity, items that branch off from the Miracle Outfits and require experience in certain skills before you’re allowed to purchase them. They’re a good way to teach you a bit more about the Miracle Outfit’s mechanics and help you master Nikki’s skills.
Another way to obtain new outfit sketches in Infinity Nikki is byfinding them in chests around the worldas you explore Miraland. Treasure chests come in a variety of shapes and colors, and plenty of them contain clothing or accessory sketches.
In general, once you’ve got a sketch on hand, you’ll need tocreate the clothing from your sketch, which requires a wide selection of potential materials and collectible resources you’ll gather all across Miraland as you explore. Provided you have the correct materials, you’re able to fabricate a sketch as soon as you get it and begin wearing that piece immediately.
What Are Style Battles?
One of the main parts of progressing through the main story of Infinity Nikki is partaking in a number of differentfashion battles against other Stylistsaround Miraland. There are plenty of characters who will refuse to help you unless you show them you can strut your stuff.
When you initiate a style battle, you’ll have the opportunity tocreate an outfit that sticks with the given theme, and it’s imperative tochoose clothes and accessories with high scores in the given themeto win the battle overall. All of your outfits in Infinity Nikki are sorted into five color-coded themes: Elegant, Fresh, Sweet, Sexy, and Cool.
The more pieces you have that offer points to the specified theme of the battle, the better, but you’re limited to how many pieces you may use, which means you’ll need to make it a priority to collect new clothes and increase your scores in these five categories. You’ll receive a reward for winning and be allowed to progress in the story.
Be sure to be findful of your Eurekas, too - they can make or break a battle!you’re able to unlock new Eurekasin the Realm of Eureka and the Realm of Enlightenment at any Warp Spire, and you can combine them to make more powerful Eurekas that really improve your outfits' stats.
Is Infinity Nikki Multiplayer?
At the time of launch, Infinity Nikki isnot a multiplayer game in the traditional sense. As much fun as it seems, there’s currently no way to send your Nikki into someone else’s game so you can play through this open-world adventure together with friends. That said, it doesn’t mean there’s no way toconnect in the game!
Have you unlocked Bebe’s tutorial onthe in-game camerayet? In Florawish, she’ll not only teach you to use a camera, but she’ll give you one to use from then on as well. After posing with Bebe, you’ll have full access to the camera, able to document everything there is to see in Miraland.
Once your friends have access to their camera, you might seephoto spots around Miraland where a friend has taken a photo, and interacting with this location allows you totake a photo with your friend’s Nikki, which will then be sent to them to keep. you’re able to alsoadd friendsto your account toshow off player cardsand evenchat on the Pear-Pal.
Can You Play Infinity Nikki Offline?
While it’s is currently a pretty solitary game outside the odd photobombing you can do around Miraland,Infinity Nikki is a live-service game, which means you’ll need to access the game’s servers anytime you want to play. As such, you’llalways need to be onlinein order to play Infinity Nikki.
Regardless of how you’re playing the game – PC, console, or mobile – your device needs to have Wi-Fi connection at all times, and you’ll unfortunately disconnect should you lose your connection while you’re playing. Thankfully, the game auto-saves your progress, so even if you should experience connectivity issues, you’ll never really lose much progress.
Can You Change Your Ability Outfits?
While you’ll unlock all the standard ability outfits by progressing the game’s main story and unlocking the sketches in the Heart of Infinity, you’ll also find several ways tochange and customize the appearance of your ability outfitsin Infinity Nikki. There are two ways to do this: pulling for Resonance banners andevolving your current completed outfits.
The free way to change your ability outfits in Infinity Nikki is byevolving your current ability outfits. You’ll need severalCalm Thoughtsto do this, which can be obtained weekly in the Realm of Breakthrough after you’ve unlocked it by progressing the game’s main story. You’ll also find unique evolution materials for other outfits by completing tasks in the game, likebeating the Sovereigns of each Faction.
Additionally, you can change the appearance of an ability outfit afterpulling every piece of a new ability outfit from the Resonance banners. The main banner, Distant Sea, features a new appearance forthe Purification outfitwith the Crystal Poems outfit, and you’ll be able to change this at will after pulling each piece of the outfit.
Outside the permanent banner, you’ll also periodically findlimited-time banners with new outfits. The first of these was the Croaker’s Whisper banner, offering a new appearance forthe Electrician outfitfor completing the set. These cycle out regularly in Infinity Nikki, so be sure to check often and spend your Resonance crystals when you’ve got them!
