Summary

Fortniteis getting a social roleplaying mode, with Lego Fortnite Brick Life launching next week. This mode will support up to 32 players in a single server, letting huge groups explore a “bustling city” together.

It looks like the mode will be pretty wide-ranging, giving players the freedom to hang out in the city however they want. As examples of what we can get up to,Epicsays that Brick Life will let us design our own home and get a job, so it’s yet another way for players to just chill out in Fortnite, rather than play any of the more fast-paced game modes.

Lego Fortnite Brick Life will be available from December 12 onwards

Lego Fortnite Brick Life is going to launch as a separate game mode on December 12. While it looks like there will be plenty to keep players busy on launch day, Epic says that it will be an “ever-evolving experience”, with future updates adding “new jobs, resources and events”.

We’ll have to wait and see how the community gets on with this, but as we’ve seen with the likes ofGTA Online, there are a lot of people who really like roleplaying in city settings like this. So, with Fortnite always holding metaverse-like events, it makes sense that it’s giving players a way to just hang out like this too.

Fortnite fans have had a lot to get excited about recently. After its initial run proved to be a huge success,Fortnite OG has returned as a permanent game mode. Unsurprisingly, this has also proven immensely popular, bringing in more than one million players in just 20 minutes.
