Summary
Fortniteplayers are discussing which Battle Passes over the game’s seven years they most regret not buying for their exclusive skins and items.
AlthoughEpic Games has recently taken some steps to change Battle Passes and make their content a lot more likely to appearin the shop once a Season is over, that hasn’t always been the case. In fact, for most of Fortnite’s run, each Chapter’s multipleBattle Passes were incredibly limited and their rewards lost to time once each Season was over.
Now that Fortnite has been going on for five whole Chapters and built an even bigger audience with each year that passes, that leaves a lot of players, both new and old, looking back at the Battle Passes they’ve missed since they started playing. If you’ve been playing Fortnite long enough, then I’m sure you’ve already got a few good answers.
Fortnite Players Share Which Battle Passes They Wish They’d Bought
The conversation on missing Battle Passes was started over on the Fortnite Battle Royale subreddit by Redditor HuntiniMartini, who kicked things off bysharing a photo of Chapter 4, Season 1. That oft-overlooked Season featured Geralt, Doom Slayer, and a bunch of original skins, so it makes sense as one to be sad about missing.
Beyond that, the top comment on the thread comes from Redditor Teosaurusrexx, who says they wished they hadn’t missedChapter 1, Season 7’s Battle Passbut that they did since all their friends stopped playing. Fittingly for the season, this was Fortnite’s first big Christmas Battle Pass and contained icons like Sgt. Winter, The Ice King, and Glidurrr. Oof, that one has to sting.
One Pass that gets a lot of mentions (even outside the thread) is Chapter 3, Season 1, as it introduced a comic-version of Spider-Man that has yet to be replicated. We’re looking at you, Peter B. Parker.
Another popular missed Battle Pass in the thread is Chapter 2, Season 4, which was the first Marvel Season in Fortnite. XboxBladesOnTop specifically pointed out that they wish they’d bought it to have the Mystique skin, which uniquely can transform into others through a unique emote that is still talked about to this day.
There are, as you can imagine, a lot of examples in the thread and a lot of specific reasons for why each Season is desirable, but looking through the post is a nice reminder of how far Fortnite has come.If you’re like me and have forgotten to get rid of Crew for a while, it’s also nice to compare and see what you’ve got that others are missing.
