While an odd change, it still costs the same in terms of real money, as the minimum amount of V-Bucks you can buy is 1,000 for $10.
However, it’s not the only change to the battle pass system arriving next month, as there are major overhauls taking place for Fortnite Crew members.
Fortnite OG Is Getting Its Own Battle Pass
Better yet, the Music and Lego battle passes (which are 1,400 V-Bucks each) will also be included in Fortnite Crew going forward,making it a far more valuable service.
This news follows the major overhaul in October whichremoved the Battle Stars system, making it so that all battle passes progress at the same time through usual XP gain. It’s safe to assume that the new OG pass will follow suit, so Crew members will be able to unlock rewards across four different battle passes at once without having to purchase them outright.
