Fortniteleaks are barely considered leaks. Unlike the Nintendo Switch 2 leaks, which you can be sure that the company is unleashing its lawyers on, Epic Games doesn’t seem to care about its leaks. In fact, it feels like Epic has been treating these net code leaks like free marketing. You don’t need to spend money and effort on promoting a new character if there’s an army of “leakers” already doing it for you.

One of these sources isShiina, who has been reliably giving fans information on what’s going on in Fortnite and what new additions or characters we can expect. In fact, Shiina is now even partnered with Epic Games. However, there have been rumours that the leaker is going to retire. In fact, someone claiming to be them on a Discord channel has even written a heartfelt goodbye. However, these rumours have been rubbished by Shiina.

Shiina Is Not Retiring

“What started as a fun way to share updates and discoveries with others has turned into a race for who can post first,” continued the alleged Discord message. “The pressure to stay ahead of the game has made it feel less like a hobby and more like a constant grind. That grind has become draining, and I no longer find the joy I once did in this space.”

However, the post was followed by a Twitter community note that mentioned that Shiina is not retiring. The leaker denied these rumours on their professional as well as personal Twitter handles.

There’s no word on how this rumour picked up, or who the person that wrote the goodbye message on Discord was. However, Shiina is here to stay, and even claims the “next few weeks will be my new prime fr”.
