Summary
Fortnite’s crossover with Cyberpunk 2077is live now, making skins for Johnny Silverhand and V available in the store for a limited time. And while reactions have been split, many have picked up the skins by now, eager to play a few rounds as the chaotic duo.
However, there seems to be a fairly consistent bug with the Johnny skin - he keeps going bald. All over social media, players are sharing screenshots of their Johnny skin losing his hair, robbing him of the rockerboy style we all know and love from his own game.

According to the players who have encountered this bug, it happens if you use the Johnny skin in the menu for Fortnite: Save the World. I do not know enough about how these things work to explain why this makes Johnny hairless, but it seems that this is a consistent issue and specifically for the Johnny skin. As if the poor guy hasn’t been through enough.
While this is a minor bug, it isn’t the only issue people have had with the Cyberpunk 2077 collab. More generally, some fans feel thatthe game is a poor fit for a Fortnite crossover, given that Johnny himself probably wouldn’t be too chuffed about being turned into a microtransaction. Then, there are those whowanted male V to be playable as well as female V, and are hoping that both versions of the protagonist are added in the future.
In any case, V and Johnny will be available in the store until January 5.
