Back in the day,Fablewas one oftheXboxexclusives, right up there withHaloin making theXbox 360a must-have. Now, an insider is saying that the new instalment could come toPS5, the first time that the series has launched on aSonyplatform.

The Next Fable Game Could Be The First To Come To PlayStation
Xbox is reportedly dropping console exclusives altogether after a big push earlier in this console generation
“Xbox won’t have exclusives going forward. Everything is timed exclusive at most,” says Corden, in tweets spotted byPlayStation Lifestyle.
When someone doubted that Fable would be included in this, Corden affirmed that it would be. “That game was monstrously expensive. It might not be day one, but it’ll come with the current plan in place IMO.”
We’re increasingly seeing that Xbox is willing to share the games that it could make console exclusives. Most recently,a new trailer for The Outer Worlds 2 confirmed that it will be coming to PS5after all. Another upcoming Obsidian RPG, Avowed, is still listed as being PC and Xbox only, but that might change soon.
Speaking on this topic,Corden has previously saidthat the “era of Xbox having permanent console exclusives is over.” With that in mind, we can expect more releases like The Outer Worlds 2, or even Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which is coming to PS5 at some point next year.
Sony, on the other hand, has shown no sign of sharing its big exclusives with Xbox. At best, we eventually get a PC port sometime after launch. The most recent one to be revealed isFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth, which is coming to PC on July 09, 2025.
