It’s hard to say thatPalworldtakes place in a completely peaceful setting. Spending time with your adorable Pals and developing your base are only part of the experience. However, upgrading your base, improving your equipment, and expanding your capabilities mean facing tough challenges.
Tower Bosses, Alpha Pals, strange cult-like organizations… and on top of all that, fearsome Predator Pals are waiting for you. These Pals are very different from the others, and you won’t want to encounter them unprepared. That’s why we’ve put together this comprehensive and essential guide for you.
Predator Pals, Explained
Predator Pals are area bosses, much like Alpha Pals. They spawn in specific locations and are as aggressive as they are powerful. However, unlike Alpha Bosses,their locations won’t appear on your map, so you need to know where to look.
There are two ways to identify a Predator Pal when you see one. First,its eyes will be red, and it will emit a reddish aura.The second way to recognize it is that, during battle,the name of the Predator Pal will have the word ‘Rampaging’ in front of it.
There are a total of 33 Predator Pals in the game. While they respawn after being defeated, the biggest issue with these Pals is thatthey don’t always spawn.This means that if the Predator Pal is not at its coordinates when you arrive,you’ll either have to wait or set up a route to hunt other Predator Pals.
If you want the Predator Pals to spawn faster, you may increase the Day Speed and Night Speed in the World Settings. This will reduce your waiting time.
Unlike Alpha Pals, you don’t earn Ancient Technology Points from Predator Pals. When you defeat them, in addition to their usual loot,you’llreceive at least one Predator Core, depending on the level of the Predator Pal you defeat. These Predator Cores can be used to craft useful items.
Another distinction between Predator Pals and Alpha Pals is thatPredator Pals cannot be captured.Therefore, your only option is to eliminate them.
