Strinova, the anime shooter developed by iDreamSky, brings some fresh mechanics to the genre, and the only way to unlock certain characters is through itsgacha system. Each Agent has their own playstyle, abilities, and primary weapon, so when you pick them, you know the kind of role you’re going to play in a match.

Strinova also has a main story where Agents are part of different factions: P.U.S., The Scissors, and Urbino. That will also shape the role of the playable characters inside and outside of matches and maybe even your relationship with them. Additionally, you might recognize some familiar voices in the cast, especially if you playother gacha gamesor watch a lot ofanime.

Audrey in Strinova.

Chinese

Ju Huahua

Audrey is part of Urbino, a commercial alliance that recruits artists and scientists. She’s part of the Grove Family and wants to restore it to its former glory after her uncle’s betrayal. Gameplay-wise, she uses an assault rifle equipped with a shield, making her a safe bet in most matches.

Hisako Kanemoto is Audrey’s Japanese voice actress and you might know her from Genshin Impact, Arknights, or the Granblue Fantasy franchise. On the other hand, Ju Huahua, the Chinese voice actress for Audrey, is a HoYoverse star.

Bai Mo in Strinova.

Liu Zhaokun

The energetic Bai Mo is Urbino’s leader and believes in freedom above all. He loves hanging out on the streets and everything related to urban culture. He’s a fast agent with great mobility that packs a punch if you use it correctly.

Joe Goffeney (AFK Arena, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang) voices Bai Mo in the English version of the title. Tomokazu Sugita, who you might know from Demon Slayer, Gintama, or the more than 200 TV shows he’s in, is Bai Mo’s Japanese voice actor, while Liu Zhaokun (Itto in Genshin Impact) is his Chinese counterpart.

Celestia in Strinova.

Wang Yaxin

In Strinova’s lore, Celestia was part of PUS, Painting Utopia Security aka the Government. However, after the Collapse Syndrome fell on Strinova, she founded Astral Sanctuary to help people. Celestia is part of Urbino and has healing abilities in battle.

Super Sentai fans might recognize her voice in the Japanese version. Also known as Mao Ichimichi, M.A.O was part of the live-action Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, the celebration of the 35° Anniversary of the franchise, which was adapted in the west as Power Rangers: Super Megaforce.

Kira Buckland, the English voice of Nier’s 2B, voices Eika in Strinova. She also plays Qingyi in Zenless Zone Zero and voices Kyoko (and her mom) in the River City Girls series. Yoshino Aoyama, on the other hand, is none other than Bocchi from Bocchi The Rock!

Flavia in Strinova.

Zhang Qi

There aren’t many details about Flavia in Strinova’s databases and that’s probably on purpose. She’s a special agent of PUS, tasked with monitoring the organization’s enemies from the shadows. She can escape death thanks to her abilities in battle.

The actresses picked for Flavia are pretty popular, with Kayli Mills starring in River City Girls, Genshin Impact, and Ranma ½, Rina Sato in Genshin Impact, Sailor Moon, and the Persona franchise, and Zhang Qi in different Pokemon movies as none other than Ash Ketchum.

Fragrans in Strinova.

Zhang Ruoyu

The eccentric Fragrans is part of The Scissors and is simply described as a floral expert. Her primary weapon is an assault rifle, but her abilities are the core of her gameplay. She’s a healer with a risky Ultimate and a great passive ability.

If you’re playing Strinova in Japanese you’re in luck because Fragrans is voiced by Yui Ishikawa, 2B in NieR: Automata, Mikasa Ackerman in Attack on Titan, and the female Trailblazer in Honkai: Star Rail, among many other roles in gacha games and anime.

Fuchsia in Strinova.

Qin Ziyi

While most Urbino Agents are serious scientists or lively artists, Fuchsia is the exception. She’s a hired mercenary ready to fight at any moment. In terms of gameplay, she’s an aggressive duelist who can restore HP by eliminating opponents.

Aoi Yuki, the Japanese voice actress for Fuchsia, is another celebrity you might know. She voices the female Traveler in Genshin Impact, Gwen Stacy in the Spider-verse movies, and Lucy in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Oh and also Madoka Kaname from Madoka Magicka, no big deal.

Kanami in Strinova.

Yanning

It’s probably a requisite for gacha games to have a playable idol at some point, and Kanami fills the role. She carries a double life as Agent of The Scissors and uses her musical abilities in battle. She can create decoys and detect enemies using soundwaves.

Her voice actresses are well-known talents in the gacha game scene. Maaya Uchida is part of Reverse: 1999, Genshin Impact, and Tower of Fantasy, while Yanning is a HoYoverse celebrity who voices Pela in HSR, Anby in ZZZ, and three characters, including the female Traveler, in Genshin Impact.

Kokona in Strinova.

Xiaogan

Kokona is an instructor working for PUS in Strinova. She’s cheerful and dedicated but also likes to be lazy from time to time. She’s a healer and can revive teammates with her Ultimate ability. However, her primary weapon is a sniper rifle, which can be a disadvantage.

Anime fans that pick Rie Takahashi as Kokona’s voice will hear Emilia from Re:Zero, Ai Hoshino from Oshi No Ko, and Kaoru Kamiya in the latest version of Rurouni Kenshin.

Lawine in Strinova.

Lin Su

Lawineis one of the first characters you meet when you log into Strinova. She’s part of The Scissors after betraying PUS and specializes in stealth. As the tutorial character, she’s balanced and easy to use, with the ability to detect enemies and hide from them.

Sam Slade and Lin Su voice Lawine in English and Chinese, respectively, and both have experience in HoYoverse games like ZZZ, Honkai: Star Rail, and Honkai Impact 3rd. Yukana is a popular anime voice actress in charge of playing Kefla in Dragon Ball Super.
