Summary

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero’s Hero of Justice pack has just released today for those who don’t have the season pass, and fans aren’t impressed with its price point.

When Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero was first announced, one of the main things that fansquestioned would be in the game was content from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, which had only just recently launched. Sadly, as most expected, Beast Gohan and Orange Piccolo weren’t in the base game, and were instead saved for DLC.

That DLC, the Hero of Justice pack, launched for season pass holders earlier this weekand added Super-Hero forms for Gohan and Piccolo alongside the Gammas and Cell Max as brand-new characters. Earlier today, the Hero of Justice DLC left its early access and launched for all players as a separate download, which has revealed a surprisingly high price.

Sparking Zero’s Hero Of Justice Pack Costs $17.99 And Fans Aren’t Happy

As pointed out by Twitter user DBGameNews, the release of the Hero of Justice DLC pack has also revealed its price to be$17.99 for those who don’t have the season pass. Seemingly in response to the high price, DBGameNews asked fans if they think it’s worth the cost, which has resulted in a resounding no.

One of the most popular responses in the thread comes from Twitter user GamesCage_, who said “Absof***inglutely not bro LMAO” and called out how similar most of the characters are alongside the lack of stages, songs, and costumes. The rest of the replies reflect this, with fans pointing out that it’s too expensive for what it is.

Most of the issues with the DLC seem to stem from the lack of content beyond the characters, as it really is just them. No matter how great Beast Gohan is,most seem to consider it a shame that there wasn’t more bonus content includedas that’s something Sparking Zero needs after launch, and something Xenoverse 2 has excelled at.

I’ve got the Sparking Zero season pass so I might be unfair to ask but I think the Hero of Justice DLC includes a bunch of great additions to the game, even if it’s lacking in bonus content.

A lot of the responses to the cost have resulted infans saying that anyone interested should just pick up the season pass, which costs $34.99 and basically means that one of the three DLC packs will be free. Without that pass, it’s looking like Sparking Zero’s first wave of DLC will cost around $53, which is close to the price of the full game.
