While it’s true thatDragon Ball: Sparking Zero is one of the best Dragon Ball games ever made and a worthy successor to Budokai Tenkaichi 3, it’s fair to say that there are a few elements that feel a little undercooked. Perhaps the biggest example of this is the customisation options,or to be more specific, thelackof them.
Despite the customisation menu leaving room for tons of outfits and accessories, Sparking Zero barely has anything for players to mess around withoutside of a few characters with a few costume changes and the infamous halo and Scouter. There are tons of missing outfits, but one stands out among the rest as a really obvious pick.
Goku’s End Of Z Outfit Is Finally In Sparking Zero
I am, of course, talking about Goku’s iconic blue gi from the End of Z Saga in Dragon Ball Z and GT. Although the gi is present when you play as GT Goku, it would have made a lot of sense for the outfit to be an option for every other variation of Goku considering it’s one of his most well-known designs.
While we’re likely to be waiting a while until Bandai offers the outfit as an official in-game customisation option,skilled Nexus Mods creator Sakkayarts has given PC players the next best thing with a modthat adds the outfit for almost all of Goku’s variants (not including Teen Goku).
According to Sakkayarts, the mod is compatible with all of the adult versions of Goku, such as End, Super, and even Ultra Instinct. That’s not all, though, as it’s actually a two-parter that includes both the End of Z version of the gi and the one used in GT. You might think they’re the same thing, but the End of Z gi is a lighter blue with yellow armbands, while the GT version is darker and has pink bands.
Real ones know that the End of Z version of the gi is the top dog.
It’s a very minor detail in the grand scheme of things, but one that shows how much effort has been put into the mod by Sakkayarts. Considering Sparking Zero didn’t even have one of the versions of the outfit for adult Goku,it goes to show just how strong the modding community is for the game.
