Dragon Age: The Veilguardis a pretty good game, full of satisfying combat encounters and deep lore dives, but one thing that was on everyDragon Agefan’s mind before release was who they were going to shack up with. The romances were so highly anticipated that people were even pickingwhich party members they wanted to lock lips with before the game launched.
Now that it is out and everyone’s had time to get to know Dragon Age: The Veilguard’s multiple party members, we can see which characters captured the hearts of players the most, and which ones were left without a date to the prom. BioWare released some cold hard stats on the game’s official Discord server, and it turns out Neve was the character who players wanted to smooch the most.
Neve Is Dragon Age: The Veilguard’s Most Popular Romance
Neve’s popularity isn’t too surprising, given that she’s arguably the most ordinary female character of the group. We’ve seen withsimilar games like Baldur’s Gate 3 and Shadowheartthat the conventionally attractive female characters are usually the most popular romance options, while the conventionally attractive male character in Lucanis is just behind Neve in the poll.
Taash picks up the bronze medal, while Harding just misses out on a podium position in fourth. Bellara is quite surprisingly in fifth, while Davrin and Emmrich bring up the rear in sixth and seventh, which is also kind of surprising given how many people wanted to jump the old man’s bones before the game even launched.
