Summary
Solas is a rather… divisive figure in theDragon Ageseries. But whether yourDragon Age: Inquisitioncharacter vowed to save or kill him, I think we can all agree on one thing: he’s a bit of a loser. A clown, some would argue.
Well, fans have thought this about him for a while. A mod for Inquisition gave Solas the clown makeup he deserves, so we could point and laugh at him throughout the whole story, long before he ditches us and reveals his grand plans at the end of the game. Now, someone has recreated that essential mod forDragon Age: The Veilguard, just so we can feel superior whenever we have to deal with him.
Turn Solas Into The Clown He Is With This Dragon Age: The Veilguard Mod
This work of artcomes from Nexus Mods user Queen Schadenfreude. As you’re able to see in the images they’ve shared, Solas gets this new look both during his ritual at the start of the game and in the Fade.
As the mod author highlights, this is a remake of the Inquisition modClown Solasfrom Nexus user Jonathan Bonathan. Since it’s the same design, it implies that Solas hasn’t taken the makeup off in the ten years between Inquisition and The Veilguard. Maybe it’s so he can remember better times. Well, unless he hated your Inquisitor. In which case, maybe it’s to remember past mistakes. He’s all about that, after all.
While I have seen more than a fewSolas romancersendorse this mod, there is another one out there that’s a little more friendly to the Dread Wolf.Kisses for Solasby Nexus user Pina gives him a face full of - you guessed it - kisses. Maybe someone could combine the two, so we can best reflect the complicated feelings that this man gives us.
In any case, Dragon Age: The Veilguard is out now, available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
