As reported byWBNG, Ellis is said to have started harassing his former partner after she ended their relationship in 2022. When she ignored his messages, he is alleged to have threatened self-harm. He is also said to have sent her intimate photos to her friends and family, and further threatened to release them to a “large audience”.

It is further reported that he admitted to making threats of revenge porn in November 2022, prompting the court to issue him with a Domestic Violence Restraining order. At the same time, he was found to have intimidated witnesses who were planning to testify against him.

Ellis is set to make another court appearance at a later date.

Ellis is best known for his role as Theodore Groves in Pirates of the Caribbean, although he has also appeared in many video games over the years. He gained a following for his role as Cullen Rutherford in theDragon Ageseries, appearing in every game up untilDragon Age: Inquisition.

However, in recent years, much of his work has revolved around claiming that the family court system is biased against men. He has repeatedly claimed that he had his children removed from his care over a false allegation that he threatened to harm them.

During this time, he infamously releaseda videoin which he took the role of his character, Cullen, and spoke about himself in the third person. During the video, he spoke against the MeToo movement, feminism, and cancel culture.

Since then, he appears to have taken on fewer projects. His last notable role in a video game wasHogwarts Legacy, in which he played multiple characters, including Albie Weekes and Timothy Teasdale.
