Summary
Just a few weeks ago, the team atCD Projekt RedshockedCyberpunk 2077fanswhen it announced, then shadowdropped, a major patch four years after launch.
Dubbed the “Express Yourself” update, Patch 2.22 added a slew of new features to the game. Among those additions included updated vehicle customization, photo mode improvements and over 100 new character options ranging from makeup to cyberware. Oh, and Johnny Silverhand can randomly ride along with you.
Flash forward to today, and associate game director, Paweł Sasko, has taken to Twitter to ask fans what’s missing from the game. Heeding the call, over 2,000 Night City residents have responded with the customization features they’d like to see most.
Night City Creativity At Its Finest
Among the most requested features are new hairstyles and tattoo options. The game already boasts many of the former, but is slightly lacking in the latter.
Another request is slightly less personal, but will help with character distinction: height.
There were also several userswho wanted to walk around looking like Lizzy Wizzy. That is withfull chrome skin from head to toe.
On the other hand, there were users who wanted to emulate Maelstrom, complete with flashing red eyes and enough chrome to question your humanity.
Another highlight among players was the idea of more visible cyberware. That was something included in some concept art that a fan then shared with Sasko.
At this point, it’s unclear if Sasko is scouting for additionsto the next Cyberpunk game. Or, if another major customization patch could make its way into the existing game. Whatever does end up happening, it’s clear that Sasko is taking any and all opinions to heart. That alone should make any Choom really happy.
