Activision has been no stranger to adding new guns toCall of Duty: Black Ops 6. So far, theKrig C,Saug,Maelstrom,Sirin, and the Power Drill have joined the game within its first couple of months.
But, while the additions are moving at a good pace, there are still dozens of iconic weapons fromCall of Dutyhistory that players would love to see come back, and over onReddit, they’ve been debating them.
“If I Could Get One Gun Back…”
The discussion all started when Reddit userOxyClean_shared that they would love to see theAUG Riflereturn fromCall of Duty: Black OpsandBlack Ops Cold War. Oxy’s choice was a popular one, with multiple players sharing that they’d like to see it back, but ultimately, they feel thatWarzone is the reason it’s not there.
Initially, it seems like OxyClean’s thread was designed to discuss the AUG, but it quickly devolved into other players sharing the weapons they’d want to see in Black Ops 6.
Aside from the AUG, theGalilwas themost sought-after weapondiscussed by the Black Ops 6 community, with players reminiscing about how good the gun felt in the early Black Ops titles. Alongside the Galil, there were multiple calls for Treyarch to bring back theFamas. The Famas is an evergreen weapon featured in multiple Call of Duty games, so there was certainly optimism in the discussion about the gun returning.
The list continued with the FAL, ak-74u, SPAS-12, H&K G3, G11, MP5, M40, M21, Beretta M9, M60, and M249 all getting mentions before the thread once again devolved into disappointment thatWarzonewas potentially stopping some of these weapons from appearing.
The disappointment was arguably summed up best by Lil-Gazebo, who said, “I could not care less about warzone. Why can’t they just add them from Warzone into BO6? It’s not like they’re the same game. Are you telling me I’m missing out on st in BO6 because of f*ing Warzone, of all things? Ridiculous.”
