Tenno can get their hands on some retro weaponry inWarframe’s1999 update. By completing activities for The Hex Syndicate, you can earn some powerful new weapons like the AX-52, Reconifex, and the Vesper 77.
The Vesper 77 is effectively a modern take on the Lex Prime, a slow-firing hand cannon that deals immense critical damage with each shot. It’s not the best weapon for speedrunning missions, but it takes out enemies in style. And it’s fully suppressed, making it the ideal choice for stealth Warframes and all stealth-themed loadouts.
How To Get The Vesper 77
The Vesper 77 is a potential bounty reward fromHollvania bounties,an area you unlock upon completing “The Hex” quest. Hollvania will refresh its bounty board every few hours with new objectives and reward pools. Some of these bounties can drop Vesper 77 parts. Complete the bounty to receive a random reward in its loot pool.
Of course, getting a weapon solely through RNG drops might take some time for less fortunate players. Fortunately, you can alsopurchase all Vesper 77 blueprints from Amir Beckett in the Hollvania hub. You’ll need to be Rank 3: 2-For-1 to purchase any of these component blueprints. Component blueprints cost 5,000 Standing, while the main blueprint costs 15,000.

Long-time Warframe players might recognize that the Vesper 77’s stats are almost identical to the Lex Prime. But while the Lex Prime has a powerful Incarnon adapter, the Vesper 77 only has two things going for it:
Those who own an Incarnon Lex Prime likely won’t have much reason to grab the Vesper 77, but if you love the feel of a slow-firing hand cannon that can one-tap enemies in most activities, then the Vesper 77 might be up your alley. Build this gun for critical stats to help offset its lack of AoE capabilities and slow fire rate.
Vesper 77 Builds
We’ll be sharing two builds for the Vesper 77 today, one that requires no Forma and another meant to push the Vesper’s damage as far as possible. As with all of our builds, feel free to replace any of our Primed or Galvanized mods with their standard variants.Elemental combinationsshould also be changed to exploit enemy faction vulnerabilities; you don’t have to use the same element for every faction.
Variant
Vesper 77
With two base polarities to work with, we can make a fairly powerful critical build without any Forma. We start withGalvanized DiffusionandLethal Torrentfor multishot scaling. Base damage is then scaled withSecondary Deadhead, granting +360% damage if you can land three precision kills.
For critical stats, we usePrimed Pistol GambitandPrimed Target Cracker. If you don’t own Primed Pistol Gambit, Creeping Bullseye works just as well. Throw on an elemental combo to finish the build. We’re running Blast in our build example, utilizingPrimed Heated ChargeandFrostbiteto greatly buff our damage.
Not much has changed with this variant. We now runHornet Striketo help scale our base damage right off the bat, making it easier to ramp upSecondary Deadheadalong with our Galvanized mods. We’re throwing inGalvanized Crosshairsinto the mix as well, giving us a massive boost to critical chance after we land a few precision kills. Paired withPrimed Pistol Gambit, you’ll be landing frequent orange crits.
Lethal Torrentscales our multishot, andPrimed Target Crackergives us some much-needed critical damage. Throw on your two favoriteelemental damage modsto complete the build. We’re usingPrimed Heated ChargeandPrimed Convulsionfor a ton of Radiation damage, but feel free to change your elemental mods to suit the faction you’re fighting.
