Chapter 6 Season 1 of Fortnite has arrived, and it brought Hunters and Demons to the party. The island is transformed into a Japanese setting where you see a mix of old buildings and architecture versus modern-day subways and cities. Right off the bus, you are tasked with becoming a rõnin to “drive back ancient evils.”

With the new season comes new skins, and this list delves into the best ones to try to unlock based on difficulty to obtain and, therefore, how rare the skin is. So, here are our choices for the best skins this season.

8Shogun X

“The Demon Commander From Realms Beyond”

A boss, Shogun X, is a part of the Deadly Shogun Set and can be purchased for 1,800 V-Bucks. Shogun X is one of the reasons these other skins exist, as he is very powerful as a boss, and a frightening presence.

you’re able to play as Shogun X with or without the hat, and, you will receive a myriad of rewards which will drastically help your chances of being the last player standing. He does not require you to level up to purchase, however he is unique to this season.

7Kintsugi Daigo

Man Of A Thousand Faces

Kintsugi Daigo is one of the more enigmatic skins to unlock in this season, and he is the second iteration of the Daigo skin. you’re able to unlock him after unlocking the first ten pages of Battle Pass Rewards.

He’s the first completed skin to be found, and he’s worth having because of his shadow-ey mystique and accompanying Spirit Strider Emote and Kintsugi Crashdown Contrail. His spooky, Jason-like mask rounds out this skin as a darker, shrouded figure.

6Samurai Baymax

Ready To Be Your Hero?

Baymax is a large inflatable robotic Disney character from the movie Big Hero 6. In the movie, Baymax tries to help others, but in this season of Fortnite, at least in solo Battle Royale, he is definitely doing the opposite.

Fortnite has been teaming with Disneymore and more and their characters and skins have been really fun to play with. you’re able to already play as Disney villains such as Maleficent and Captain Hook as well as members of the Incredibles, so Samurai Baymax as well as regular Baymax are big welcome additions. Samurai Baymax comes along with a Megabot Back Bling and a Microbot Mallet for gathering materials, and he is the last completed skin before entering into Bonus Rewards.

5Lucky Nyanja

Robo Cat

This “two-tailed trickster” is part of the Nekomata Rogue set. It is the first skin you can unlock in the Bonus section in Battle Pass, and it looks a little bit like your cool Brooklyn friend has a cat who DJs on the side. Its hood has two holes for its ears, possibly for the headphones, and its left hand is robotic, probably to raise the roof.

On top of the too cool for school vibe, this skin is a great addition to the ever-growinglist of animal types. You must unlock all the regular Battle Pass Rewards first, making this our first Bonus Reward skin.

4Demon Hunter Hope

See Through The Shadows

Some say that hope is the ability to see light through the darkness, and Demon Hunter Hope does just that. She can “see through the shadows” and she is a part of the In the Shadows set, so her contribution in this season seems pretty cut and dry; she wants to help.

Her counterpart, Lilac Shadow Hope, is a masked, lighter version of her, who instead of embodying the night, chooses a softer tone in her color pattern. Demon Hunter Hope blends her first two unlockables into an intimidating, artistic warrior who wields a “Battle Blessing” where once unlocked on the fourth page of the Bonus Rewards resembles a giant twirling paintbrush.

3Racer Kendo

Kendo is next up on our list, and he is described as “a wandering rõnin with a restless spirit.” He is a part of the Wandering Warrior set. He definitely has Mulan type energy, and his demon hunter version comes with a turbulent blade.

Racer Kendo is unlockable on the third page of the bonus rewards, and the pickles come included. He can cut fruit invisibly, and his katana can cut through the darkness, so this warrior is not to be missed in our list.

2Guardian Jade

Discover The Island’s Myths

Jade is a part of the Cursed Guardian set. She goes a bit harder in the free world paint than her predecessors in that her color pattern is a blend of fiery pink, red, and elements of gold and green.

Guardian Jade’s first two unlockables, Jade and Cursed Jade are third and fourth in the unlockables list, and they come with awesome Kaito Gliders, which are three fish who are “ancient guardians of air and water.” She also has an unlockable back bling accessory Mr. and Cursed Daruma which are tiny fiery backpacks sure to strike intimidation into your opponents. Guardian Jade is unlockable after claiming all page four rewards in the Bonus Rewards.

1Restored Night Rose

Alluring Demon Warrior Boss

“A fearsome demon warrior, bound by ancient duty.” Restored Night Rose, the third and final iteration of the skin, is unlockable after claiming all page five rewards in the bonus content.

Night Rose’s character has accessories such as thorns for a Pickaxe, a marionette for Back Bling, and a Glider resembling a witch meeting a puppet. Restored Night Rose is the last unlockable Bonus Reward and to get this skin you will have to unlock every available reward.
