Call of Duty: Black Ops 6has a wide selection of weapons to use in multiplayer and Zombies. The first SMG you’ll unlock is the C9, a reprised version of the MP5 known for its high accuracy and moderate fire rate. It’s a jack of all trades of the SMG category, making it a great beginner weapon.

Today, we will be covering two great builds for the C9 that make it an excellent option for multiplayer and Zombies. Our first build is a standard five-attachment configuration for multiplayer, while the second build is ideal for Gunfighter setups and Zombies play.

Stealth C9 Build

If you want to use the C9 up close, you’ll want to equip aSuppressorto stay off enemy radar. The weapon has solid range for an SMG, but we can improve it with theReinforced Barrel.This doesn’t give as much range as your typical Long Barrel, but this gives a whopping 30% bullet velocity buff, which is noticeably more than Overpressured Rounds. The C9’s base projectile speed is absurdly slow, so buffing it should help with mid-range TTK consistency.

Speed is crucial on an SMG, so we suggest using theRanger Foregripfor more sprint speed and anErgonomic Gripto greatly improve your ADS speed. It also reduces your slide-to-fire delay, ideal for flicking on enemies mid-slide or dive. We finish the build with aFlip Magto offset the C9’s fairly slow reload.

Loadout Recommendations

Stealth loadouts work best with aReconCombat Specialty.Ghost and Ninjaare fantastic for any suppressed weapon, hiding you from enemy radar while muffling your footstep audio.Forward Intelwill then increase the size of your minimap to make it easier to track enemy targets. Throw onDouble Timefor more tactical sprint uptime or any other perk that suits your playstyle.

This perk configuration requires Perk Greed. Consider unlocking it with yourPrestige unlock token.

As for equipment, our only main recommendation isStimsto heal yourself after a duel. Everything else is down to preference. If you play 6v6 respawn modes and want to go on killstreaks, considerSleeper AgentorWar Cry.

Gunfighter C9 Build

This is an upgraded variant of the last build. We use theGunfighterWildcard to install three extra attachments. We runOverpressured Roundsto greatly improve the weapon’s bullet velocity, allowing us to drop the Reinforced Barrel for aLong Barrel, further improving the C9’s range. We then throw on theStrelok Laserfor better accuracy while in the ADS animation.

Your last attachment can either be a stock or an optic. We recommend theInfiltrator Stockto greatly improve your ADS strafe speed. If you don’t like the iron sights on the C9, feel free to use any optic attachment instead.

We recommend the same loadout as before.Reconspecialty is great for stealth gameplay, notably when you runGhostto hide your minimap presence. Run two other blue perks to trigger your set bonus. Everything else is down to preference.
