Call of Duty: Black Ops 6has introduced a powerful .50 Caliber sniper in its Season 1: Reloaded update. By completing a short event or Armory Challenges, you’ll be able to wield arguably the strongest sniper rifle in the game, at least in Multiplayer.
The AMR Mod 4 packs a serious punch, capable of eliminating a player from the upper legs and above. It also has solid handling stats once you get attachments for it, making this a powerhouse in the hands of a skilled marksman. Today, we’ll showcase two builds that make the AMR an S-tier pick, one tailored for MP and another for Zombies.
Pros And Cons
The AMR Mod 4 is a one-hit kill anywhere but the legs, making this one of the easiest snipers to use effectively in Multiplayer. With that said, you’ll still need a few attachments to make this weapon a consistent sniper. AQuickdraw Gripis practically required to make the ADS on this weapon reasonable. This does lower your flinch resistance, so you’ll want to throw on aHeavy Riserto counter this penalty.
AMuzzle Brakealso makes a huge difference in back-to-back gunfights—the initial recoil reduction is invaluable for 1v2 and 1v3 gunfights. Your last two attachments are entirely up to you. We recommendyour favorite opticfor a clean reticle while sniping. Pair that with anExtended Magto reduce reload frequency, and you have a great sniper for most game types.
Loadout Recommendations
Green perks tend to work best with a loadout like this, so we recommend you run theStrategist specialty.Fast Handsis a hard requirement, greatly reducing the swap times between your AMR and preferred secondary.Flak Jacketis downright mandatory to survive lethal grenade spam. For your third green perk, we recommend eitherTac Maskvia Perk Greed orGuardianfor faster HP regeneration while playing the objective.
As for equipment, your typical meta picks work here.Stimsare amazing for healing right after a gunfight, andTrophy Systemsare an S-tier pick if you play the objective or generally hate enemy equipment. Thanks to Strategist, you’ll be able to throw out your Trophy Systems in less than a second.
The AMR issimilar to the Frostlinein Zombies, turning into a fast-firing DMR when Pack-A-Punched. For this build, we’ve opted tobuff the handling of the AMRas much as possible. We run aQuickdraw Gripandany x1 opticfor fast ADS speed, a basicExtended Magto make reloads less frequent, and aShort Barrelto mitigate ADS penalties while jumping.
All remaining attachment slots are up to preference. We’ve opted for movement speed here, using theInfiltrator Riserfor increased ADS strafe speed and aRecon Padfor faster sprint speed. Finish the build withRecoil Springsto reduce the weapon’s recoil.
