Summary
Youtooz has been teasing a collaboration withPlayStationfor months, ever since the company’s director shareda sneak peek and its Sly Cooper figure, admitting Sly 2 is their favorite game. AnAstro Bottease followed and now the first four characters getting the Youtooz treatment have been officially revealed - Astro Bot, Sly Cooper,God Of War’s Kratos, and Ratchet.
The quartet of figureswas unveiled this weekand you don’t have long to wait until pre-orders for all four of them open. You’ll be able to buy everything in the first wave of Youtooz’s PlayStation collection starting on July 25, 2025, and the figures will cost $29.99 each. The only downside is the wait that comes after. The figures won’t be shipping until at least June 09, 2025, so don’t go grabbing them as holiday gifts.
For those unfamiliar with Youtooz, no offense to Funko Pops, but the figures are like Funko’s with additional detail. While Youtooz have characteristics that make them instantly recognizable as Youtooz to those familiar with the collectibles, there’s more wiggle room to include iconic elements synonymous with the characters they’re modeled after. PlayStation’s Astro Bot figure, for example, is wearing his translucent cape and is striking a pose.

Kratos, Astro, Ratchet, And Sly Kick Things Off
Ratchet’s figure has Clank on its back, so technically it’s two figures in one, and Sly’s Youtooz is swinging a hook which has left the same streak it leaves in the games, a very cool detail to incorporate into the design. Kratos is the most surprising character to be included in the PlayStation collection as the cartoonish characteristics the figures have aren’t really compatible with the God Of War, or at least you wouldn’t think they would be.
Even though Kratos looks quite a bit chirpier in Youtooz form than he does in his games, the figure’s design still works. Youtooz Kratos is swinging Leviathan, and it even has some snow-covered rocks incorporated into its design at the base which is a nice detail, and I imagine helps it stand up for display purposes, the same way the cape will for Astro.
Ratchet And Clank Youtooz Figure
Part of Youtooz’s first collaboration with PlayStation, Ratchet is one of the collection’s initial four figures. As usual, though, the Lombax hasn’t come alone. Ratchet’s figure is wearing his trusty companion, Clank as a backpack.
Astro Bot Youtooz Figure
Youtooz has teamed up with PlayStation for the first time, and naturally Astro was one of the first characters to get the Youtooz treatment. The Bot is striking a signature pose and his cape has been cleverly incorporated into the Youtooz design to hold Astro up while he’s standing on one leg.
This doesn’t appear to be a one-and-done situation for PlayStation and Youtooz. The latter has already asked collectors which characters they’d like to see join the fledgling collection next. Aloy seems like a logical pick, especially after her recent foray into Lego, and perhaps we’ll see Joel and Ellie get their own figures in the future. I’d personally like to see as many VIP Bots from Astro Bot turned into Youtooz as possible, and any other figures and collectibles for that matter.
