InMythwrecked: Ambrosia Island, your goal is to help the islanders remember their previous lives as Greek gods. The mysteries shrouding the island keep them from their powers, and only you’re able to connect all the gods back together. Not all of them will be easy to befriend, but with a bit of help, you’re sure to get along just fine.
Hephaestus is a prickly god, but he has a good heart. Content to stay in his workshop, you’ll have to help him perform repairs around the island and find the mementos from his past. Here’s everything you need to know to befriend Hephaestus on Ambrosia Island!
How To Unlock Hephaestus
To unlock Hephaestus, you’ll need toget two seals: one from Hermes and one from Zeus and Hera. With these seals, you canopen the door to Hephaestus' workshop. You can find it to thewest of Ares' orchard, north of the water wheels.
Inside, you’ll find Hephaestus in his wheelchair, happily working away on his latest project. If you don’t see him, try coming back later.
Hephaestus will be in his workshop from 6AM to 12AM.
Hephaestus Friendship Level One
To reach level one friendship with Hephaestus, you’ll need totake the Un-hammerfrom him andrepair the broken down wind turbinesaround the island. You won’t be able to reach all of them for now, sofixing five will do.
The wind turbines are marked on your map with a windmill icon in the regions you’ve unlocked.
Check along the beachesand shorelines for accessible turbines. You’ll alsofind one in the atrium, along the eastern wall. When you find them,give the turbines a tap with the Un-hammerto instantly repair them.
After you’ve found all five,head back to the God of Invention. He’ll ask you torecover some of his prized mementosto restore his lost memories.

Inside Hermes' seaplane, all the way in the back beneath a hidden wall panel.
Bring everything to Hephaestus toearn his trustand reach friendship level one! He’ll alsoupgrade your Ambrosidex radarto find buried mementos.
You can now enter Hephaestus' room and visit him whenever you’d like.
Hephaestus Friendship Level Two
After you reach rank one, the Un-hammer is recharged, and you’retasked with seeking out more broken turbines. However, you won’t be able to reach all of them, so you may have to wait a while.
Some turbines areblocked by water, but helping Poseidon, the God of the Sea, may open new pathways for you.
Checkalong the northern shoresfor more turbines andrepair them with the Un-hammer. This time, you only need tofind and fix fourof them.
Once you’ve done that, it’s time tofind the right mementosfor Hephaestus. Below are all the ones you need to find and where to get them:
Buried in the dirt by Ares' Orchard, near the portal.
“Do Not Disturb” Sign
Buried under a tile in the southwest corner of the temple entrance.
Hourglass
Buried under a pile of rocks by a mosaic on the northeastern beach.
Bring everything to Hephaestusto help him remember more of his past and reach friendship level two!
Hephaestus Friendship Level Three
To max out your friendship with Hephaestus, you’ll have to take the recharged Un-hammer torepair the last turbineson the island. You can check which ones still need to be worked on byopening your map and searching for the blue wind turbine icons.
You can filter the icons to make it easier to see!
After you’verepaired the last of the wind turbines, you’ll need the following mementos tofully restore Hephaestus' memoryand get the island functioning smoothly again:
Discarded Designs
Buried under some rocks by a wind turbine on the southeastern beach.
Failed Invention
Swap 100 Ambrosia Fruit with Poseidon.
After you’vegiven all the remaining mementos to Hephaestsusand repaired the wind turbines, you’llreach level threeand max out your relationship! You’ll berewarded with Hephaestus' soulstone, which can beplaced in the Gaia cavern.
What Can You Trade Ambrosia Fruit For With Hephaestus?
Upon reaching friendship level one with Hephaestus, you canswap ambrosia fruitwith him. In exchange, he’llgive you furniturefor your lighthouse.
