The new year is rapidly approaching and to celebrate itMonopoly Gois throwing a party. Or a bash, if you will. You could even say it is a New Year’s Eve Bash! And what does this bash entail? Well, landing on tax tiles to collect points so you can win pickaxes, of course. You know, as you do at your typical New Year’s Eve celebration!
The New Year’s Eve Bash event runs from10AM on December 31stand will end at10AM EST on January 2nd. It is running alongside the New Year’s Treasure event, which is why the milestones are loaded with pickaxes. It is time to roll out the new year by rolling dice!
How To Earn Rewards In The New Year’s Eve Bash Event
In order to rack up those rewards in the New Year’s Eve Bash event, you will be targeting those tiles youtypicallydread: tax tiles. Landing on the following squares will provide you with points:
If you are wondering how you can “target” specific tiles, it is all about how you use thoseroll multipliers. Keep in mind that 7 is the most common roll you’ll encounter, so, if you are seven tiles away from anElectric Factory,Water Works, Luxury Tax,orIncome Tax tile, you’ll want to consider raising your multiplier.
The New Year’s Eve Bash event just so happens to coincide with theNew Year’s Treasuresevent. Which means you’ll needpickaxes- and lots of ‘em. Thankfully, the milestone rewards are loaded with those oh-so-important pickaxes, making the New Year’s Bash event a great launching-off point. In total, you’ll be able to acquire close to 200 pickaxes to assist Sophia with. Not too shabby!
Outside the wealth of pickaxes, you’ll see that the milestones are a little more engorged withsticker packsthan usual, probably because we are close to moving onto the next sticker album. Finally, as you complete the50 milestonesin the New Year’s Ever Bash event, you’ll be receiving stacks of cash, free dice rolls, andbonus board triggers.
