Now that the most recent partners event is over inMonopoly Goand we’ve got a little bit of time before our next big event begins, which means a steady stream of fairly standard rewards in the daily leaderboard tournament, Best Buds Contest, today.
Between3PM EST on November 17and1PM EST on November 18, your Railroad minigames will net you plenty of rewards for the Best Buds Contest! There’s a new emoji in the mix for the top five players, as well as a slew of blue sticker packs to help you end the current sticker season strong!
How To Earn Rewards In Best Buds Contest
While we’ve all enjoyed a nice stretch of game where both events give points forlanding on the Railroad tilesaround your Monopoly Go game boards, with the start ofthe Friendship Pays event, you’ll only be receiving points for the Best Buds Contest daily tournament leaderboard from the Railroad tiles today. The number of points, though, depends on which minigame you play and the result you get from playing.

If you think you’re likely to land on a Railroad tile on your next dice roll, it’s not a bad idea toincrease your dice roll multiplierfor the next roll if you’vegot enough dice on handafter the partner event to do so. You’ll earn more points on each Railroad the higher your dice roll multiplier is when you land there, so it speeds up your progress through the list of Best Buds Contest rewards!
Now that we’re between events in Monopoly Go, your list of rewards in Best Buds Contest is a little more standard without countless Thanos gauntlets on offer as milestone rewards. In Best Buds Contest, you’ll be receiving a mess of sticker packs (with a surprising thirdblue sticker packavailable to help you toward album completion as we near the end ofthe Marvel Go album season), plenty of cash rewards,board boost triggers, and just over 13,000 free dice rolls.
Additionally, for thetop five playerson each leaderboard of 50, there’s anew emojion the line at the end of the tournament on November 18. It’s Mr. Monopoly shaking hands with his pal from the Friendship Pays event that runs in tandem with Best Buds Contest, a nice friendly emoji for any intriguing interactions you might have with friends or foes in Monopoly Go.
