If you’re familiar with the special events in Monopoly Go, then you’ll be no stranger to the need tocollect New Year’s Treasures pickaxes from other eventsthat happen in Monopoly Go while the New Year’s Treasures event is active. There are a ton of ways to get ahold of those valuable pickaxes. We’ve provided a breakdown of where to get pickaxes below:
Use Pickaxes To Dig For Prizes
Now that you are equipped with a steady supply of pickaxes, it is time to get digging. Once you begin the New Year’s Treasures event, you’ll encounter a grid of sand and stone. Above this grid is an outline of the item(s) you are after.Every pickax you use will clear one tile.Naturally, you’ll need to study that outline and carefully choose which square to clear.
The treasures will vary in size and shape - as will the grids.Your goal is to dig them all up so you may progress to the next stage.You’ve only got until January 4th to progress through the levels. So, you’ll want to earn as many prizes as you can - as quickly as you can.
But it isn’t all for naught; you will be rewarded handsomely. This is a great chance to snag stickers so that you’re able to fill yoursticker album. You’ll also get heaps of dice, and you’ll have the chance to claim some pretty snazzy, unique prizes. That includes a shield as well as a token.

Cash Reward
Like in the other events, the “Cash Reward” changes depending on yournet worth. If you want to increase your net worth, you simply need to upgrade landmarks and clear maps. The more you progress, the higher your net worth will be.
